Whew! What an exciting game in Toronto. I know the Jays are out of it but it had a really nice atmosphere to it. If this game was played in this predicament 5 or so years ago the stadium would be a mausoleum. You gotta give credit to the younger crowd for being out there and loud. The bullpen nearly coughed it up but they did just enough to secure the W.

Yea I watched it. Mariners are playing some special baseball right now. I have been focused on the Angels and Astros. But the Mariners are actually pretty damn legit and it feels strange saying that.

They're pretty fun to watch this year. I don't know if we can say they're up there with the mid-90s teams or 2001, but they've got some talent.

It is. It's nice to see them play well. They have a really nice blend of contact hitters. Gordon, Segura, Gamel, even Span. Guys that don't strike out alot and put the bat on the ball. A very balanced lineup, even without Robby.

Vizcaino makes me so frustrated...there is nothing wrong with a 1-2-3 inning every now and then. He can never finish anyone off when he's 0-2...

Ozzie Albies has a .499 OPS in June. That is reason #1 why Atlanta's lineup is markedly different than in April.

I feel like he's really had some bum luck...his BABIP over the last month is in the low .200's (for the season it's only .260ish) and it seems every time he hits it hard it's right at someone lately.
