That's a downer, Giants just got swept by Miami.

I'm going to see them host the Marlins a week from now. They better shape up and fly right.

EDIT: Actually, they're playing them today, but are at risk of losing again being tied in extra innings right now.

Benches clear in LA after Matt Kemp ran over Robinson Chirinos at the plate. You guys be the judge.

I saw it live and I thought it was fine. The throw pulled the catcher into the line, but Chirinos stayed in the lane and Kemp has the right to try to get to the plate I believe. I know Kemp was tossed but I don't know if that was for running over the catcher or the scuffle afterward.

It's only a problem now because the rules say that it is. To me it's no big deal and they're all overreacting.

Same thing I said. The throw put Chirinos in the path of the runner. It's like what is Kemp supposed to do there? Just give up and let him tag him........

Nothing wrong with what Kemp did running the bases, throw pulled Chirinos to the base runners path and a collision was pretty much inevitable. Play on.

Chirinos did get ejected as well, so I'm pretty sure the umpire didn't think anything was wrong with the collision

Clean baseball play. A play I miss seeing.

Good lord, the Dodgers announcers are talking about the different extra innings rule change proposals. Not that they're for them, they are more so bashing them just by getting very exaggerated with the ideas.

Yet still, Vin Scully and his listening posse are all changing the channel right now.
