Braves actually held on. I'm shocked.

I was glad to see "good" Minter today...I knew when he was dotting those pitches to Molina that we were in good shape. What a huge sweep to start this brutal stretch. The Cards had been playing well coming in...never in my wildest dreams did I expect a sweep. Onto the Bronx!

As long as we aren't playing any last place teams we have something to look forward to.

So, get this...Seattle is now 53-31 (22 games over) with a +21 run differential. Something doesn't add up here...If they ever decide to stop being sustainable, it's gonna get ugly.

another outstanding start for Blake Snell, he's got to be the breakout player in baseball this year. He's gone from a failing top prospect who couldn't throw a strike to arguably the best lefty in baseball. To have that record and that ERA, while playing in the AL East for the Rays, is genuinely phenomenal. With all the incredibly righty hitters in that division as well, brilliant

Could use another one of those crooked-number outbursts. Game's not over yet.

They have a very solid lineup and a good pen plus an up and coming ace in Paxton. They are a good team. They need another good starter though.

Obviously they won't continue at this pace. But they've really added alot of low key solid pieces and it's working.

When you have guys like Segura, Span, Gordon, Gamel etc you get contact. Then they have the big bopper with Nelly. Haniger has been mashing. Seager is heating up. It's a very complete lineup.

Eesh, Arenado barely got that ball, way out in front of it yet still homers to straight away center field against the Dodgers. Such a pretty swing, love the finish he gets on it. He's making a sneaky attempt at the triple crown as well

So what you're trying to say is that you think they're sustainable?

EDIT: As they win their 23rd 1-run game of the year. lol

Phillies walk it off in the bottom of the 13th on Andrew Knapp's pinch hit home run! This team never quits! Took 3 of 4 from the Nationals!

19 of their next 24 games are all against teams with losing records too.

Orioles, Pirates, Mets, Marlins, Padres and Reds. 5 games with the Dodgers and Red Sox thrown in too.

Currently constructed. No. You look at that rotation and obviously there are a bunch of question marks. Felix is clearly aging and not well. But if they can pick up a good pitcher at the deadline. They can certainly make some noise.

I'm saying they have the groundwork for a very nice team. But obviously they need to fortify that rotation.
