Put that historic come back in the books. Down by 8 going into the 7th, win 13 to 10.

Dodgers/Phillies in 16th inning. Again, most of Los Angeles has no way to watch it without workarounds. Again, this is a bigger detriment to baseball's popularity than "baseball preventing player individuality" or whatever dumb **** people like saying.

Red Sox starting pitchers have allowed 0 ER in their last 4 games. It had been 102 years since Boston starters recorded 5.0+ IP and allowed 0 ER in 4 straight games, having last done so from 8/19-24 in 1916 (via @EliasSports). Sox starters have allowed 0 ER in their last 25.0 IP.
        Not too shabby

The @Athletics erased a 10-2 deficit in the 7th to win in Texas tonight …

The franchise hadn’t come back from 8+ runs in the 7th or later since 1939, when they were the Philadelphia A’s (h/t: @StatsBySTATS). https://t.co/6FZDy4B3SC

Arrieta needs to get on his game today. Time to truly earn his paycheck. I mean after all he facing a new Dodgers pitcher in this guy. How tough could it be?! He may not even show up if the weather is nice!

I'm ready to not see Eugenio Suarez anymore.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

If all of Jon Lester's 'regression' comes at one time and he just has one really bad outing every 5 or 6 starts and keeps overperforming during the others, then I will take it.

Cubs' offense is definitely back on "famine" setting. Hopefully the dial gets set back to 'feast" for the upcoming St. Louis series.

Heyward and the Cubs bailed out by some shoddy 'Zona defense.

Bryant's shoulder is sore again and Baez looked really gimpy after Souza's slide.

Pujols climbs past Griffey Jr. on the all-time HR list with an absolute shot off James Shields in the 2nd inning. #631
