I'm pretty happy with the timing. Just so long as it doesn't continue into their series with the Brewers coming up.

Braves get dicked YET AGAIN on a challenge.

Rendon with an amazing play but one that was clearly late. Preston Tucker was clearly safe. Called out initially. Reviewed and held up.

What a travesty. I'm sick of this ****.

Yep...not sure how that one doesn't get overturned. Duda strikes out with RISP to end the inning as well; our bench acquisitions have straight up sucked (mainly Duvall/Duda).

Taking 2 out of 3 against the Yanks?

              I'll take that

              Too bad Oakland lost though.

Cubs lose, Brewers lose - though the latter made a run at Vazquez in the 9th and came up just short.

Rockies stand to gain on Milwaukee in the wildcard race (while simultaneously pulling even with LA in the West, pending their game with the Cards tonight), leading the Giants early.

I guess if the Cubs aren't gonna hit squat (scoring 5 runs total over 3 games against friggin' Reds pitching), it'll work out okay if the Brewers do just as bad. Funny how both of these teams seem to work/not work.

Really fun series against the A's. Losing that first game probably ended even the slimmest of hopes we had, but none the less it's been a good series, tightly contested.

Really enjoyed how aggressive Bob Melvin was in trying to take us on, doing a great job of countering our running game and really earning his money as a manager, making constant changes to try and get an edge. He's the AL manager of the year for me, probably the best in either division tbh

If the Pirates can finish .500 or around there, I'll take it as a victory this year.

I just want to talk to the guy who took a mid-September Yankees-Red Sox matchup out of my Extra Innings Package and decided to put it in the middle of the day and broadcast it exclusively on Facebook. He's probably saving me $250 a year going forward.

Mookie Betts is about to be the first player in history with a season of 50 batting runs, 20 fielding runs, and 5 baserunning runs.

                              He's sitting at 56, 21, and 5.

The guy's having a HOF type year. I may not like the Sawx but Betts is an undeniable talent.
