I'll admit my post was intended to be very colorful, but even still:

Yes, I'm well aware foul balls have much faster final velocities than home runs and ground rule doubles. Honestly because I suspected he was fine (but shaken up), it actually looks kind of funny. I'd like to catch a replay of it if I can. Served him right for not paying attention I guess.

The Dodgers are in. The Cardinals are out. Players on the Giants continue to cash checks even though they don't really deserve to.

Rockies down 5-1 after 3. Still a ton of baseball left, especially at Coors, but this could be setting up for a crazy day tomorrow

So Cubs/Brewers, Dodgers/Rockies could enter tomorrow tied. Nice.

Champagne celebration for...a potential one game playoff against the Cubs or Brewers on the road.

Chaos not fully achieved since the Cards are done, but that's still pretty wild.

Any idea on who would hold a tiebreaker between the Braves and the NL West for Home field in the LDS?

So...we could potentially have 2 one-game playoffs to settle division titles on Monday.

It would be interesting to get 2 game 163s, but I see the Brewers finishing off the Cubs tomorrow and the Dodgers inching ahead of Colorado (mainly because the Giants are not a major league team right now). Gut feeling it'll be Rockies at Cubs in the NL Wild Card game.

I think we might have to test Yelich... I dont think he's actually human.

Man, loving this excitement, no matter what the turn out is tomorrow.

Just being in the playoffs for the 5th time in 48 years is incredible right now.

                            Final day of regular season.

Everything in the AL is sorted out. O's can move into sole possession of 4th for most losses in a season(in modern era). Too bad they didn't get to top 120 losses.

Dodgers/Rockies and Cubs/Brewers races will be fun. I hope we get same result in both games just for scheduling chaos.

2 division tiebreaker games on Monday, followed by losers of each game having to play in the WC game on Tuesday, where the winner plays the Cubs/Brewers tiebreaker winner on Thursday.

Blake Trienen, first player in history to have a sub 1 ERA (0.78), 100 K, and more than 30 saves. Not to shabby.

Khris Davis with an HR and steady at .247. I'd rather he hit 2 bombs tomorrow for 50 but even my crappy math tells me that'd be hard to keep 247 with two hits. Probably would need 5 or 6 AB to accomplish both.

Olson is sitting on 29 HR and Lowrie at 99 RBI. It'd be nice to see both if them crack milestones.

Tomorrow is gonna be fun day of baseball all over the place. Hope we get at least one game 163 on Monday.

So Scherzer, who I understand is in normal rest and was slated to start today, won't start against the Rockies. Interesting.
