To go to who? I'd rather let Montgomery work out of a jam than rely on the bullpen

He gives up way too much hard contact and if he doesn't have it early. Chavez can easily go 2 innings and maybe a starter is available out of the pen to give a few we don't know about. I'd probably trust the bullpen way more than Montgomery at this point.

I thought I saw in his last start that he was top ten in line drive percentage, meaning that he gave up less hard contact but I might be remembering wrong.

I'm just looking forward to having Montgomery back in the pen where he'll help the most. Lester, Hamels, Hendricks, and Quintana will be the only starters on the playoff roster.

With New York's win, this is the first time one of the leagues has had 3 teams reach 100 wins in the same season.

Also the first time both Boston and New York have reached 100 wins, and the first time multiple rookie managers achieved the same (Cora and Boone).

Kershaw really has to learn that he can't keep pounding the zone on the first pitch with his now mediocre fastball.

                Hitters are sitting on it.

A young lad who wasn't paying attention just got conked in the head on a ground rule double.

Don't worry, he's okay... but I guess we should put nets up above the outfield walls now to avoid this kind of atrocity. Or should we start focusing more on the event that we're at instead of having our heads deep into whatever it was he was doing instead?

On another note, really pulling for Yelich and Betts to be the MVP's this year.

Brewers tie it up at 3.

                      2nd & 3rd, only one out.

Wright just departed. His career is over.

                            Castellanos goes deep.

The fact that he's okay showcases the difference between getting hit in the head with a foul ball 150 feet away versus a ground rule double or HR 350 feet away.
