Vlad Jr should have been up for awhile now. Really wish the MLB would find a way to keep teams from keeping their prospects down for the number of reasons they do outside of them truly not being ready. Cubs did it with Kris Bryant, Braves even did it with Acuna. Seems the Jays are doing it with Vlad Jr.
Only way I could see something working is if it was similar to arbitration talks, but even then I don't know. I'm just not a fan of it all and don't think it is good for the sport.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Not only that, he could have been called up by now. If they wanted to bypass legalities, they're past due. They're legitimately trying to get him major league ready right now. Maybe it's on baserunning, who knows? It's not just about squaring up the ball.
He better come up soon, though. Man, horrible thing in tonight's Pirate game. Nick Burdi is a rookie, was having a good start to the year for the Pirates.
