Only 4 players had more Grand Slams than Ozzie Albies before turning 23.

      Ted Williams (4)
      Eddie Mathews (4)
      Ken Griffey, Jr. (4)
      Alex Rodriguez (4)

Albies has 3. And he has 129 games left this season. Doesn't turn 23 until after the season.

Fried coming home looked like Simba running away from the stampede in The Lion King.

Good work so far in extras for Atlanta. Let's put them away once and for all, and give Teheran something to cheer for with the winless performance he will obtain.

Max Fried with A++ effort. Great to see from a young pitcher. Willing to do what is needed for the win.

                  Sarcastic post is sarcastic.

I suppose if I said that after the first pitch or so where he recorded a called strike, that would be rather premature.

Snitker would have been crucified if Fried had hurt himself with that slide though...great effort, but cringed the entire time.

Alex Bregman's Grand Slam was home run 1300 on the season.

Last year we didn't reach 1300 until May 12th.

There's already been more home runs this season than 1901, 1902, and 1903 combined. We can probably throw in 1904 next weekend.

It's interesting. There are more homeruns league wide. But nobody is getting close to the single season HR kings in the steroid era.

Maybe the ball is woven tighter. But nobody has approached Bonds, Sosa, or McGwire territory.

Yelich and Bellinger have been on a tear. But I doubt they come close to that.

Bote in the lineup tonight vs. the Cards, Zobrist in LF, Schwarber sits vs Wainwright.

I like seeing Bote in the lineup for a Sunday night game. Certainly some good memories from last year there.

Marte with the game winner. Two good wins against the A's after getting blown out.
