Let us not speak of the Jays road trip again. That was just some putrid baseball. Hopefully the homestand will be better but we start against the surprisingly AL Central leading Twins.

Wait? Did Fox Sports Ohio really go and do that? If so that's AWESOME! BTW I loved those cream colored throwbacks with the collars. I'm sure the players weren't so enamored by the prospect of wearing those collars though.

No, I did that lol.

Just googled "make a picture look old" and found some site.

I remember MVP 05 did a feature where you could make the game look old when playing with retro teams.

I like when TV networks go with it too. Some of them would even use old logos,graphics,colors on retro nights

As the Dodger/Braves game gets out out of hand (Gaussman has nothing tonight), Dansby Swanson makes one of the weirdest/stupidest defensive plays I've ever seen...on a bases loaded single to left that was a line drive causing the runner to hold up, Acuna fired to 3rd and would have forced the runner by 3 steps...except that Dansby was standing 2 steps off the bag in front of Donaldson and "cut" the ball off. I have NO idea why he would even be in that spot...what was he doing?

So much for all the good feels. The Cub bullpen blowing a game at home against the Marlins because they can't stop walking the bases loaded is a good way to kill a winning streak.

EDIT: And Kyle Ryan makes one of the most absent minded plays I've seen an MLB player make in an MLB game...

EDIT 2...ouch, and KB goes yard. If the Cubs lose by 1, oof Kyle Ryan.

Vlad Jr hasn’t looked so hot a 10 days into his MLB career. I know he will hit, but I always find it amazing how hard it is to be a big league hitter. He has dominated at every stop, but this is a completely different level.
