Re: 6/24 -7/7 Game Discussion Thread
Good day to find the offense mid-game with Milwaukee winning.
Kimbrel got the first two outs pretty easily but the Braves battled him pretty hard for that last one. He lost the zone to Swanson but fortunately Freeman hit the ball right to Rizzo who was playing on the foul line. And yeah, I know the called third to McCann wasn't a strike.

Yeah but when you are battling and foul off 2 or 3 balls that's really a tough call to take.Comment

Ehh, the McCann call never even cross the plate. It broke towards the plate, but still ended up a few inches off of the black. McCann had every right to be angry there.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Cubs getting destroyed in Cincy, and Cole Hamels leaves after 1 IP due to what'll probably be an oblique strain.
Mike Montgomery would normally come through in spots like this, but he's having himself a pretty brutal season. Brad Brach on in the 4th inning...this'll end with Caratini or Descalso on the mound probably.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 6/24 -7/7 Game Discussion Thread
But at this moment in time who is playing better ball? I don't know how anyone could answer the Phillies are. I didn't pick a short 5 or 10 game sequence. I picked 30 games. A full month of games the Marlins have been playing better than the Phillies and not only that, they've won 4 straight over them. As of right now there is no way you can say the Marlins aren't playing better ball than the Phillies. I said they probably won't end up better in the longrun, but over the past month and the last two series the Marlins are 100% the better team. Their record shows it, their 4 straight wins shows it.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
