Oh hello there, someone who hasn't actually watched the Twins this year.

If you take a look at the remaining schedules for both teams, I wouldn't bet against the Twins.






The Twins have had the 2nd easiest schedule in the league to date. The only one with an easier schedule? Cleveland.

yeah, the Indians really needed a better showing this last weekend. I'm now afraid by the time they play the Twins again, Minnesota may already have the Central locked up.
The Twins really have turned Target Field into the Homer Dome (& every other stadium they've played in this season). Rocco might wind up being Joe Maddon's biggest contribution to baseball. Rocco managed like he's been doing it 15 years, not 3 months. I thought he might wind up being their downfall but he's been a solid real deal. I still have some hope the division will tighten up.

I was skeptical about the Cubs picking up Kintzler's $5M option this season, but it is turning out to be a bargain. He's been the steadiest guy in the pen and the ump just made him strike out Suarez twice in the same AB. A groundball machine that's even more valuable in the epoch of the dinger.

Hopefully Harper gets rolling in the second half. Guy gets a bad rep. He's a great player he just hasn't lived up to the ridiculous hype.

You know if Almora's gonna keep dogging it and making mental errors, he has almost no value. His whole game is as a grinder and a guy who outplays his talent. Not being on 1st base there is a total waste of an out.

Yeah, he got rocked on that ricochet. Like a prize fighter taking a power punch square in the forehead. Playing catcher is a really hard job.
