The Mets are closing on a deal that will send Cry baby Mike Cameron to the A's for Eric Byrnes. WOW the Mets are realing makeing great choices, I love Byrnes, he a really good outfeilder. i can't wait to see the Mets in action. Byrnes will be great out there with Beltran.

Apparently Delgado is cheduled to meet with TExas on Friday, and won't sign with anyone until at least the weekend.

I heard Cameron is suffering from some sort of injury that might force him to miss close to a month at the start of the season? Seems kind of stupid for Oakland to trade someone projected to be their starter for a guy who can't start for a month. Then again, Oakland may not be playing to necessarily win this year and given that information things start to make more sense.
