Cleveland supposedly wanted Moreno AND Manoah as part of the deal for Ramirez.

Based on baseballtradevalue, Manoah AND Moreno have a similar value as Ramirez, so BOTH being involved for him seems like an overpayment.

Ramirez for Moreno and a lower prospect I'd be fine with.

Smith,Hoglund,Logue,Snead for Chapman.

Jays win that big time.

Adding a starting 3B and giving up 0 major league pieces and Hoglund is probably the best guy they gave up.

Looks like the package Toronto is sending to Oakland for Chapman is Gunnar Hoglund, Kevin Smith, Zach Logue and Kirby Snead.

This feels kinda light for Oakland, but I suppose Chapman isn't the player he was offensively in 2018 and 2019. Seems like a win for the Jays that could be a massive win if Chapman can rediscover his old hitting form.

Manea is up next on the A's chopping block. Will be curious to see if they decide to trade Montas, Trivino and Laureano as well, or decide to keep them since they have cost effective team control left.

A’s aren’t looking for major league talent or much of anything to be honest. They are hitting the team and with every deal saying it’s why they need a new stadium.

It’s a ploy but as A’s fans know, this is just the regular five year purge. They were lucky to get what they did from Atlanta.
