I'm not discounting Bonds' head may have grown, but what facts do you have to that his hat size grew three sizes?

Bonds hit 30 something homers, then goes on to hit 70 something? In his later 30s??
For the those ignorant in the group:

Advances in Medicine mean being able to apply medicines or surgeries to quicker the healing and in essence getting the player back on the field quicker

Increased Strength means the greater knowledge of how the body works and functions...The better equipment we have to train those muscles specifically for whichever sport it pertains too

As far as Bonds hitting 70 hrs out of the blue...

From 1992 - 200 with the exception of 2001 where he hit 73...Bonds AVERAGED 32-45 HRS in that time span....I agree Steroids probably helped him get a few HR's he didnt deserve.....But all of them werent!! The guy plain out murders EVERY pitcher he faces almost

Ted Williams only hit .400 once in his career after averaging over .350+ his career I believe (that must also mean he is using perforance enchancing drugs) Comparable to your arguement about Bonds' 73 when he only average 35-45 HRS...

Dont come on this thread and throw out dumb, idiotic nonsense just to piss people off....FORTUNATELY there are some educated people on this thread who can have a constructive debate...If you want debate give me some cold hard facts just dont pull $h!t out of your @$$.

I don't know the specs. I think it's pretty obvious I said that for effect. But I know my eyes aren't lying to me. I'm several pounds heavier than I was at 25, but my hat size hasn't changed a bit, as it shouldn't.

So what number would Bonds be chasing if Aaron used roids. 999? 1200?

Aaron weighed 175 pounds his whole career.

Steroids or not, you cannot compare Aaron's era to Bonds' era. The simple fact of the matter is that weight training is more emphasized as well as legal supplements and a healthier overall lifestyle.
