exactly, i think its himself who's hiding behind baseball, some of the parents need to take a hard look at themselves as to why so many highschool kids are on steroids, don't always look for someone else to blame.

Yeah that senator guy is absolutely disgusted me. Calling steroid users cowards and essentially blaming them for his son's death. Umm, hello? Where were you while your son was juicing up, mr. irresponsible asshat? What a disgraceful SOB.

This hearing is such an unbelievable joke. Such waste of taxpayer money and tv time by hypocrtical blowhards who want to grub for votes for re-election.

McGwire wont admit to the use of roids....Basically admitting in his own silent way to using them....Is Maris' HR Record he broke now tarnished along with the likes of Bonds???

I personally will not recognize any records from Bonds, McGwire, or Sosa, to name a few. Maris still holds the single-season record, and Aaron will hold the all-time record in my mind.

I think most of the congress people have been professional in their questioning. We've gotten some information so far today that will have to be addressed in some ways. I'm talking mostly about the widespread availability of steroids but we've also seen how weak the MLB policy actually is.

He basically criticised how we've got 150 lbs 2B hitting 400 ft+ homeruns. Something that he said was unheard of in his day and that Mantle was only able to do it because of his natural strength.

I think he was referring to Alphonso Soriano but I can't be sure.
