      Schmidt/Benitez

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this one often... This besides RJ/Rivera is my best... followed by: Santana/Nathan.

This is my TOP TEN (I'll Only list Teams once... no teams allowed twice):

      1. Johnson/Rivera (NYY)
      2. Schmidt/Benitez (SF)
      3. Santana/Nathan (MIN)
      4. Schilling/Foulke (BOS)
      5. Mulder/Isringhausen (STL)
      6. Williams/Hoffman (SD)
      7. Clemens/Lidge (HOU)
      8. Bonderman/Percival (DET)
      9. Wood/Hawkins (CHC)
      10. Lowe/Gagne (LA)

          Williams/Hoffman over Peavy/Hoffman?

          Not likely.

As much as I hate the Yankees, I think it's gotta be Johnson/Rivera

Peavy is great... but I think Williams has the edge because he has been fantastic in the last few years... actually its a tie.

The better question to ask is which is the best setup/closer tagteam.

                      Anyways i'd go with Santana/Nathan

Although at 23 Peavy is the defending NL ERA Champ.
