    Santana - Nathan

Just a hunch that Rivera won't have as dominating as we're accustomed to seeing. Though its also hard to imagine Santana being as good this year as he was last year. At any rate, I'm putting them just ahead of Johnson and Rivera.

Pedro is top notch, it's Looper no one is sold on.

I really don't see how anyone could pick someone besides The Unit/Rivera combo.

Granted Folke had a great postseason, he's been kinda ehh over his career and was a little suspect for the Sox during the regular season last year. Certainly Schilling is great, I'd prolly but that combo #2 behind Randy and Mo.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this one often... This besides RJ/Rivera is my best... followed by: Santana/Nathan.

This is my TOP TEN (I'll Only list Teams once... no teams allowed twice):

                        1. Johnson/Rivera (NYY)
                        2. Schmidt/Benitez (SF)
                        3. Santana/Nathan (MIN)
                        4. Schilling/Foulke (BOS)
                        5. Mulder/Isringhausen (STL)
                        6. Williams/Hoffman (SD)
                        7. Clemens/Lidge (HOU)
                        8. Bonderman/Percival (DET)
                        9. Wood/Hawskins (CHC)
                        10. Lowe/Gagne (LA)
Being a Cubs fan I beg to differ with you on Hawkins. He bites. He blew too many games for the Cubs last year. I thought it was Rod Beck all over again. Borowski did a better job for them then Hawkins. The Cubs are badly in need of a quality closer. Maybe they will trade for Dotel since the A's are very confident in Huston Street. They say Street pitches a lot like Dennis Eckersley.

Remember one thing...they haven't played together yet!. We have not seen the Johnson/Rivera combo in any games that count. Now, in a month or two after the regular season has started, then talk about the Johnson/Rivera combo.
