I agree. Last year SI predicted the Cubs to win it all. So much for their predictions.

SI blows... and this is exactly why I stopped suscribing and switched to the Sporting News...

Right, the Giants will win the NL West because Barry Bonds is gonna dominate right? RIGHT?... wait ... NO! ... Bonds is gonna skip the season, so that theory is down the toilet!

The freakin Braves? What the hell is SI thinking? They couldn't get past the first round last season... what makes them think, with an older and worse team, they are gonna get even furthur. They lost their best pitcher Russ Ortiz too.

Everything in SI is biased... and I hate how more than half the magazine is advertisements... that was actually the biggest reason for my canceled subscription...

Only thing I'll buy is the SWIMSUIT... HOLLA!!!

I'm not sure about the older and worse part, but to call Ortiz the Braves best pitcher is reaaaaaally stretching it. That guy may log a lot of innings, but he walks way too many people and only got a lot of wins because he had one of the highest run support rates in the majors. The Braves staff this year is easily better than last year. The question mark is the offense. If Andruw can come closer to his potential and Chipper can get back to where he was before last year, I expect the offense to be better than last year. Personally, I think Mondesi will surprise some people.
