The A's are not moving, trust me. The new owner and the city and the fans are trying real hard to get a stadium done and its looking good

I dont think Raljon is acutally a city but rather just the name Jack Kent Cooke gave to the area around his stadium, named after his two sons Ralph and John

Too bad nobody else here wants one. Judging by other sports teams that have come to Charlotte, the ball club wouldn't see any attendance until they won 90 games.

That's not totally true. The Hornets first yrs when they were horrible Charlotte lead the league in attendence. Did for quite a few yrs in a row. Just Shinn was a scumbag, and everyone else saw it. He didn't care about winnning or LJ and Zo would have never been let go. I'll never forgive Shinn to this day. I knew he was a scumbag.

As of late, it is totally true. The Cats moved here after Charlotte wanting the NBA back.. and attendance hasn't exactly been outstanding. Hell, nobody even knew the Panthers existed until they went all the way to the Super Bowl, and then everybody loved them. Same goes for the Hurricanes.

New arena gets built they will come. Panthers in the Dom Caper yrs had people come too. Just in 02 nobody came to see tha Panthers play because they sucked. Hurricanes is a bad example, because bout 3% of people in NC *including myself* actually care about hockey, and know the game.

Yeah, we have a very gorgeous stadium down here. Even when the Redbirds weren't doing so hot, the crowds were still coming out.

I honestly think we could support a MLB team down here but the problem with a team is where the hell do you put the stadium? I highly doubt the city would pay for ANOTHER stadium, when the city is still paying off The Pyramid, The Forum and Autozone Park and I don't see any purpose in putting a stadium out in East Memphis.

Then again, I never thought there was room to fit the Forum downtown either. Combine the MLB stadium with The Peabody, Beale Street, etc and I do think the team would thrive.
