Football don't worry. As long as we stay the best team in the league all the haters will enter. First the braves fans yesterday and today the last place yankee fans enter. LOL.

I never thought I'd defend a yankees fan but you guys have been good for two weeks.
The season has a wee bit longer to go.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

It's not like i'm making anything up. Everything i've said is a fact. The yankees are in last place. If we was losing i can bet you that he wouldn't of been in this thread and neither would you. Your just proven me to be right. Your a boston fan in a Mets thread. Chalk up another *****. LOL
I was watching the game on ESPN. Half pulling for Pedro to get the win.
But oh yeah... I'm a *****.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

Re: The 2006 New York Mets...
Tough loss.
Taking one in this series is really all that matters. These guys have been feasting on weaker teams. Get the rotation/bullpen straightened out and the Braves will be in it IMO.
I pulled that out the Braves thread. Yeah you sure sound like you don't want us to win. Your in the mets thread your in the braves thread and your a AL Boston fan. These threads are for the fans of each team or a lil friendly trash talking during a series. You damn right we be feasting on marlins and nats. We are suppose to. We aren't suppose to lose. Is that our fault? No. We beat up the brew crew too. They are above .500. Every other team in our division is under .500 so every team is weaker than us. You'll get your turn. We play you guys this season. You guys had your chance in 86. It's 2006 20 years later. The amazings are back.Comment

Great game tonight.
Don't know who I want to win... I like the Braves, probably my second favorite team... Or Pedro just because it'd be nice to see him get his 200th win.
If you didn't know, people who aren't fans of (insert team name here) still check out other team threads.

LOL and you keep on going. Would you like to add anymore. You obviously don't understand the thought process of a true Met fan. Every year is our year and now that we are out to hottest start ever there is nothing you can say that will bring me down. Why can't my team be like the tigers of the 60's that went something like 30-5. I could go on and on.Last edited by HoodedSoldier; 04-17-2006, 09:05 PM.Comment

Re: The 2006 New York Mets...
Given the crapticity, overall sucktitude, and misfortune for the Mets for the last 8-9 years, it's amazing to hear fans quickly become so arrogant. This is all no deeper than 2 weeks into the season, mere peanuts of the entire baseball season. PLENTY can change in one season. Look at the 2005 Orioles.
To be honest, I'm bullish about the Mets chances this year, but to be talking $hit at the rate I see in this thread is pretty amazing. I don't see any reason to be anything other than cautiously optimistic about the Mets chances this year, especially when you guys are one Pedro stubbed toe away from falling back to bolivian. There are reasons to be optimistic, but to start thinking about being 30-5 is simply laughable.Comment

huh?
after this post I'm done. Say what you want. No need for you and I to keep going back and forth and have a team thread locked.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried.
