Joe and Evan should be a hoot tomorrow, if Joe hasn't already keeled over.
I think a few may be dodgin' traffic along the entrances of the Holland Tunnel. Very scenic (If I may say so myself) and the chance of a hit is high

        Amazin.......

        * Even though we totally collapsed, we ended up 1 game behind. Amazin!

        * A team that couldn't win at home. Amazin!

        * A schedule that has us play every playoff team from last year. (Remember schedule makers to have us play the Angels and Indians in 08 too) and is kind to give the Phillies a Royals series. Amazin!

        * Jose Reyes becomes Rey Ordonnez. Amazin!

        * Glavine pitches his best enroute to his 300 but for the team's biggest win? Amazin!

Congrats to the Phillies! I will cheer you on all the way. Great heart!

        Amazing

Which is really surprising, because Mets fans are usually such a classy bunch.

                        - Jose, can we RUN OUT GROUND BALLS?? notice how he went downhill as soon as Ricky came aboard...

                        - Tom, please retire (or just go away) -

                        - Paul, time to hit the road son...

                        - ps, when leading big against a team, show some class (ie Milledge/Reyes "dance" after a HR)..

Congrats to the Phils.. they played with heart, something our boys lacked down the stench, er stretch.. c'mon, losing to some cream puff teams??

at least Pedro made some good comments today - "we *earmuffs* it up as a team"

Wagner: Willie, Rick 'Not A Lot Of Help'
So who's gone after this off-season?

New York Post - The Mets' bullpen has been a mess for most of the season, and Billy Wagner evidently is tired of the pitchers involved shouldering the blame. In a New York magazine article that hits newsstands tomorrow, Wagner points a finger at Willie Randolph and pitching coach Rick Peterson as part of the problem.

"We've been throwing four innings a night - for months!" Wagner told the magazine. "Our pitching coach has no experience talking to a bullpen. He can help you mechanically, but he can't tell you emotions. He has no idea what it feels like. And neither does Willie. They're not a lot of help, put it that way."

I expected better from the Philly fans on this board. Oh well, this was expected to a degree.
