once again the tribe does squat at the trade deadline. GG shapiro!

Who do you want them to pick up? There was no one out there!

The only player I was hoping to see them snag was Al Reyes, since he was going to be cheap. There was no one out there to get that was worth giving up anyone. They got Lofton, that's it. I don't see where the problem was.

Should they have tried to get Gagne? Sure, but once Boston and the Yankees jumped in, they were going to trump anything we had, and force us to give up major prospects to get him. The smart move is to walk away, like we did.

Sure, we're hitting like crap lately, but every team goes through a slump, luckily the Tigers are hitting the wall right now as well. The swings will come back and the Tribe will start bashing again, I have faith.

little pissed about not picking up anyone. not suprised though shapiro you idiot quit trying to save every prospect we have. the chance to win is now. another game where we only score one run. feel bad for the pitching every hitter on the team is slumping. geez we really suck

I`m i ticked they didn`t make a move yes, but bandwagon fan i don`t think so. I`ve been following this team ever since i was in grade school. I remember watching Brook Jacoby,Alex Cole, and Glenallen Hill play when they where on WUAB. I was there for the great teams Hart put together and i was there for Thome`s last year when i could go up to the stadium and scalp tickets for $10 and sit down the third baseline. I was there all day for the snowy home opener this year untill they finally called it.

Should i be this ticked no. Some of my comments were pretty stupid I know that Shapiro has built a good team. He has made some great moves. I know we don`t want to clear out the farm system like Hart did. Just wanted to see a little more done at the trade deadline. Especially since this year and next might be C.C.`s last. I`m sure that we will turn it around. I just dont want to make the playoffs i want to see them win the World Series.

yeah i shouldnt be so critical of shapiro, i just hope c.c and carmona dont have to carry the load. westbrook needs to earn that extension he got.

If the Detroit score holds up and we can win tonight, we're tied again for the Central. This is a great chance to make a move since the Rangers aren't a very good road team.

4 losses in a row...this team really needs to get out of this post all star slump. With 2 teams right on our heels in the wild card, we can't afford for this slump to last much longer. I'm beginning to think the 2nd place team in the AL Central won't make the playoffs.

another good outing by Fausto that is wasted on the offense`s inability to do ANYTHING. 8th time in 13 games we have scored 2 runs of fewer
