    Re: The 2007 Indians Thread

I have question regarding Cleveland. Is there really that many Red Sox fans living there? For these past 4 games there was alot of chants for the Sox when did visiting teams fans become loud at Jacobs Field.

Carmona looked great, his stuff was nasty Wednesday.

Cliff Lee has to go. He's costing us games left and right. Surely we have a talented enough AAA player to bring up?

At least from college and high school and stuff, I've noticed a lot of bandwagon Red Sox fans. Its really no different than Yankees fans here. By no means are they huge in numbers, but you're bound to be able to get some chants going sometimes

so Cliff got sent down today... and we get Kenny back...

I'd be lying though if I said I wasn't excited about seeing Lofton in a Tribe's uniform again

i`m glad the offense showed up again today. thanks alot barfield, he has done nothing for this team . other than a few players this team is pathetic right now. forget needing just another arm in the bullpen. looks like they need someone who can hit.i`m really ticked with they way the have been playing. feel bad for cc they guy as given up 2 earned runs in his last two starts and has two losses to show for it.

I'm glad we got Lofton back, but as I said before we really needed another bat with some pop in it in this lineup. Preferably a right handed bat. Shapiro has less than 24 hours to make another move or else we're screwed.

I love how everyone bashes Shapiro for not trading prospects away. He did a pretty damn good job of building the team by keep prospects and making minor trades for other prospects.

Agree. I would have liked to see a move, but I'd rather see 3 more All-Star calibur players on the roster over the next few seasons...

Well, we didn't get another right handed bat nor another back of the bullpen pitcher. Looks like another 90+ win season and just missing the playoffs is inevitable. It's just like 2005 all over again, only with worse pitching.

Don't be so negative... when has it ever helped to have a fan of the team writing them off before anything actually happens?

I guess I'm just expecting the worst, but I am still hoping for the best.

That being said, we are really not swinging the bats at all right now.
