    5) dunn lf
    6) griff rf (will never happen)
    7) votto 1b

and if harriston comes back to earth, you have freel and EdE to cover 3rd
Your "proposed" line up would never work, you have 4 lefties in a row at the bottom. You have to break them up some or you will get killed in late games against left handed relievers.

I really cant believe what Jay has done so far, I was at both games on Saturday and Sunday and the kid is amazing. The whole team is playing off the energy that he brings every night.
By the way as much crap as Dusty takes on this board for wanting Corey, Dusty needs some probs for also pushing to get Hairston. We would be lost without him right now, we have not missed a beat since Kepp got hurnt. If anything Hairston brings more to the table then Kepp with his speed. Also what about the suicide sqeeze Dusty called and Jerry pulled off yesterday??!! If your going to bash the man all the time for doing things that dont work out you should also praise him for things that do.

Hariston has been injury prone for the last several seasons and looks 100% finally that is why a lot of teams did not take him. Hariston has never been a bad player what a 3rd generation ball player it's in the blood to play ball. The squeeze play was all Hariston and not Dusty.

See this is the perfect example!! lol
So I guess you think Hairston called the squeeze play??? lol
Did he wink down at Edwin to let him know what he was doing?
You are so clueless, Dusty called the sqeeze play and Jerry got down the bunt. To say it was all Hairston is just dumb, Dusty made a great call and you cant admit it because he are so anti Dusty.
Again please give the guy his probs when he does something good, dont say it was all the players. When he does something that doesnt work you dont blame it on the players.

Did you even see the play LMAO the ball was coming at Hariston's head and any players initial reaction is to get out of the way when the ball is coming at their head, yet Hariston had the smarts to just make contact on the ball whether it be foul or fair. Not Dusty at all

Well you are just showing me you know nothing about baseball!

It was a suicide sqeeze play that Dusty called from the dugout.
Edwin was breaking on the play home, he was about 20 ft from the plate when Jerry got the bunt down. Jerry is a pro and as a pro he did what he manager asked him to do, he bunted the ball on a squeeze play. And yes I saw the play as I was at the game, I saw the replay about 20 times. It was a curve ball that was heading toward Jerry and broke away from him as it got closer. It was not going to hit him in the head either, again it was a curve that was breaking away from him.

AND ONE LAST TIME THIS PLAY WAS ALL DUSTY, he called the damn play from the dugout.

Well atleast you are finally admitting he called this bunt.
And what is wrong with Edwin bunting anyway? He is not hitting at all, he should be bunting.

Yeah he called the bunt so what, he called the bunt with EE the second game of the year and we know how that ended up as well as the Dunn bunt attempt.

Your impossible man, first you said it was all Hairston and you now admit it was Dusty and all you can say is so what!!!!???

And your right we do know what happened both times, they hit HRs and we won. And you are bashing Dusty for it, why cant you admit when he is right??? Lord knows you bash him when he is wrong. It is just way too hypicritical for me, if you are going to bash him when he is wrong you cant just say SO WHAT when he is right.

You do realize your just repeating yourself right??
How about we just agree to disagree??
And when the Reds make a run at the playoffs you just keep bashing Dusty when he is wrong and keep ignoring him when he is riight.

but it's fun to bash Dusty.

I like the call but if it backfires he looks like an idiot. Hairston did well to put his bat on it, especially on such a bad pitch so I think credit is due all the way around. It was called by Dusty at the right time and executed well by Hairston on a pitch that made it hard to do so.

We can argue all we want but facts are facts, the Reds swept the Braves and are only two games under .500 right now and I'm happy with that. This Phillies series is huge for them, hopefully Bronson gets it started right tonight.

edit: for what it's worth, I've been real quick to bash Dusty all along but I like the fact that he's always willing to tinker with the lineup and rotation/bullpen. I think the Indians have struggled so much this year for Wedge's refusal to make any major changes or make them too late.

Wow here is a move I didn't expect: Homer Bailey is getting called up and will start Thursday. Yes, even with the injuries I'm still surprised given how terrible hes been in AAA recently.

Daryl Thompson has made a total of 2 career starts at AAA and one of them was last night.
There is no way they where going to call him up after one start in AAA to pitch in the majors on Thursday. He probably is the better pitcher between the two but they dont think he is ready yet.
