Was that not awesome today? Wow. Hope Volquez pitches that well this weekend. I know he's not a rookie but it would still be nice for him to get off to a good start against Philly.

Bailey loss his opener tonight, but pitched pretty well by the looks of it. Bruce struggled hope to see these two make their way back up to the big leagues

I knew Cueto was going to be sick. I was really hoping the Reds would have offered him up for Bedard.

Actually Volquez is considered a rookie, he has only pitched 24 innings in the bigs.
And yes that was awesome today, I went down for about 2 hours during lunch and Johnny was a bad man.

Affeldt was needed like the Reds needed a bullpen full of Stantons. I mean seriously. The guy has one of the worst springs on the team, if not the worst, gets the job anyway and still sucks. Ummm, duh. Not saying he can't turn it around, but come on.

Fogg...I was never sold on him too much but he had a good spring. Hopefully he will get it together. Hopefully they both will get it together and get their tails in gear. Otherwise, bring Belisle back, bring up Bray and Roenicke. get rid of Patters, Affeldt and Fogg or Weathers.

Hell, bring Homer back up here. Can't do much worse than what Fogg did last night, can he?

Patterson is a good player, and will have good season for the Reds. I never understood why the Cubs got rid of him.
