Yeah I laughed when he hit it knowing I was just railing him. Seriously though, he could hit 4 straight hr's and I would love nothing more than to release him.

don't get too excited. Keppinger was rushed back after Cabrera got hurt and had to go on the DL and EE tweaked his back making that nice jumping catch against the Yankees. Reds.com said the plan was for Keppinger to play 3B and Janish at short, allowing EE to recover from his back injury while putting Keppinger at a position where his mobility isn't needed as much, thus allowing his knee to continue to heel while playing.

I also read Kepp is playing with a brace on his knee. I hope didn't rush him back too soon.

I agree, I was suprised to hear that teams were actually interested in him, I guess they were just fooled a couple of his good outings.

No one has seen anything like this since 1900.
Arroyo was the first pitcher to allowing 10 runs while only pitching 1 inning since 1900 according to ESPN.

Thing is he just told the local media two days ago that he didnt want to be traded.
He told them he has become very comfortable here in Cincy and would really like to stay. He said at one time he really wanted to be traded to a larger market but the longer he has been here the more he wants to stay.
He also said he really didnt think he would want to be traded to the Yankees which I thought was kind of odd. I guess he doesnt want to compete against his beloved Red Sox.

maybe that's the problem. Maybe he's grown so comfortable he doesn't care when he plays poorly or when the team loses four in a row.

I just want to know what happened to the Bronson that first got here. He had a 92 fastball, an 84 slider and a 70 changeup that occasionally went as low as 65. You mix speeds like that and not many people are going to hit you.

I really dont think he was ever a good pitcher, he pitched good when he first came to the Reds but has been terrible since.
Do you realize he started out 9-3 his first year with the Reds (2006) and he is 18-30 since?
The 30 losses in that span are the 3rd most in the majors, only Jose Contrersas 32 and Barry Zito 31 have more losses.
Also he from June 24, 2006 to June 24, 2008 he has allowed the most HR's in the majors, he has allowed 66.

A local sports talk guy was saying yesterday that the Phillies want Harrang. Would you guys trade Harrang for Victorino and some prospects?
That would leave the Reds with a rotation next year of
                              1. Volquez
                              2. Cueto
                              3. Thompson
                              4. Bailey
                              5. Maloney
Victorino would really fill a huge need of the Reds, he is a great CF and would bat lead off.
They also said if Harrang is traded and Griff and Dunn are let go, the Reds would have 37 million to spend this off season. They could use the money to try and sign Texeria or Burrel or maybe even both.
                              Imagine
                              1. CF Victorino
                              2. SS Kepp
                              3. RF Bruce
                              4. 1B Texeria
                              5. 2B Phillips
                              6. LF Votto
                              7. 3B Edwin
                              8. C Ross?? Or sign a free agent.
Looks like a pretty good line up to me.

As much as I love Aaron Harang, I think it might be a good time to trade him, he makes $11 million next year and I think the Reds might not want that, unless they get rid of Arroyo who goes up to $9.5 million, then I could see them keeping Harang.
