I was looking for the anger management forum and was directed here.

Seriously fellows. I think we need to throw ourselves to the baseball gods and cry for mercy. I know being a Mets fan is tough enough but this is beyond rediculous. It's a living nightmare since September, last year.

I'm going to game Saturday night so if anyone else is going. I'll bring the meat cleaver. Someone else bring live chickens. Someone else bring the black magic book.

DO NOT under any circumstances drink Jo-BU's rum. It is very bad. Very bad.

As a Mets fan, I'm ashamed... This bi-weekly "Willie Watch" is getting to be ridiculous... Either let the man go in peace, or make a decision to let him go.... This embarrasses me.

when i watch other games from around the country...and hear other broadcasters opine on the Mets and the NY media and the fans...

the perception is the media and the fans are idiots...

and you know what? In many of the cases, they are absolutely right..

according to a few reports here in NYC, none of the players knew initially, Wilpon said the decision was all Omar's.

This move was classless, disrespectful and tasteless. Mets win two in a row...three out of four....

Randolph leaves with the SECOND BEST managerial record in Mets manager history...

There aren't many men in MLB...players, managers or front office personnel, who exude CLASS like Wille Randolph did.

I went to bed after the 7th inning last night, and I just got into the office, and I figure I'd check to see what the final outcome was last night... I had no idea that they would pull this overnight... Just when I thought they (the Wilpons) couldn't sink any lower, they pull this... You couldn't let the man know you were gonna fire him before you send him out the the left coast?

It was mentioned on Fatso and Fruit Loops yesterday (in the midst of their constant golf updates), that Willie comes off as the martyr in this whole fiasco... He's become a sympathetic figure because of how badly he's been treated... This makes me sick and embarrassed; I wish Willie nothing but the best wherever he goes next in his baseball career, which WILL not end here.

Wait wait... when did this happen??

I watched the game last night 'til the end... He coached the whole game. I was listening to the fan prior to the game and they were giving up to the minute status reports on his job security....

What a joke. I can't believe they send the guy to West Coast only to replace him.

And WTH! Peterson is gone too??? I didn't see that one coming at all!

What a pathetic showing by the front office on top of a pathetic showing by the team this year. That's just Busch league stuff right there.

As much as said here that Randolph shoud go (just made some bad decisions, and his laid back style didn't sit well with me), the way the front office did this was poor. Why have Willie go to LA for one game, then get the boot? They had the chance to do it earlier on that 5-game losing streak, or even do it before they left to go to the West Coast. But with all the talk going on recently, I thought he would get till the end of the year.

Just woke up this morning to hear about this- Omar (rightfully so) is right in the line of fire now.

Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts of the midday show on WFAN are in LA for the Mets/Angels game, and Joe said that when they were in the Mets dugout before the game with David Wright, he said the whole thing was a distraction, and that even the guys who didn't necessarily like Willie were getting extra motivation to play hard for him, because THEY didn't like the way he had been getting jerked around....

he actually said there were players that didnt like willie? thats messed up a bit.
