You mean you can't laugh at what just happened?

Deep down inside you knew the bullpen was going to do us in. I'm still surprised we even ended up with the season we did, all things considered.

I mentioned back that the Cubs series was big and that we needed 3 of 4 to get in. I knew we were going to fizzle against the Marlins, from the way they enjoyed playing spoiler last year. They're a good young team and are probably one or 2 additions away from being in the playoffs.

Ummmm No.
There is first(World Series winner) and everyone else.
Win the Championship and then talk smack.
If you ain't in first(again...W.S. winner) you might as well be in last.

So I'd say that while you're in a better position to talk smack than 26 other teams fans......the bottom line is....you still talk too much.

Chris Coste was on the radio today and said he and his teammates never forgot the July game where Reyes homered and ran around the bases with his finger in the air. Even though I'm ecstatic that the Mets choked again, part of me feels sad that I won't see Reyes make an *** out of himself with his dancing and celebrating again until next April.

But look on the bright side, Mets fans....at least Jose's .243 average this September was an improvement from the .205 he hit in September last season.

He did disappear again. 2 for 14 in the final series if memory serves me right...

And as everyone in the league says... as he goes, our offense goes.

Please... That is so overrated. Reyes did that in response to comments made by Jimmy Rollins; he did it in front of him as he rounded the bases on his homerun. It works both ways. Enjoy the postseason.

I think the Mets should ask MLB not to allow my Marlins to be the last series for the Mets next year. It was funny last year, but watching that game yesterday was brutal. I had a feeling before the game that the Mets would somehow lose that game, and sure enough they did. Wes Helms and Dan Uggla teeing off on the Mets Bullpen late was awesome though.

Jimmy Rollins is not in Jose Reyes's league. Reyes is a superior player.

not for nothing, but who in the hell is Chris Coste? I'll tell you..a CAREER minor leaguer until he FINALLY got a change to be a backup a few years ago. No one, certainly not me, is criticizing how well he's done since being called up at or near the age of 20, but please...Reyes ain't the first, nor the last player to homer and circle the bases with said finger in the air. Is Coste blind? I remember J-Roll doing the same more than a couple of times...

by the way, Congrats to Santana for having the lowest ERA in the league, Reyes for having the most triples, and Feliciano for pitching the most games. Of course that last one might not be a good one.
