Just, wow! 14 runs on 21 hits, that was awesome. Nice win to pick up, since I have absoutely zero confidence in Burress giving us anywhere close to a decent start tomorrow. Hopefully we can outslug the struggles I anticipate him having.

Yeah and I was watching the Chicago feed. I had to laugh at the Hawk ROFL at you the "bad guys" killed you guys!

Nice to see the Jays kick butt like that

Well I knew Burres wouldn't do well.....

It's up to Doc to keep the consecutive series streak going.

Man the Jays are just rolling! I hope the rest of Toronto can enjoy this. The fans here are all messed up because every time they jump on the bandwagon something bad happens.

              Oh well...

              Kansas City here we come!

Well Tallet was due for a bad start. The best we can hope for now is a split. BTW I finally figured out what was nagging me about Tallet this year:

Not the greatest comparison shots but Tallet looks a helluva lot Frank Viola this year.

                    Jays make wholesale changes:

IN: Brett Cecil, Robert Ray and Brian Wolfe

OUT: Brian Buress (thank goodness!) David Purcey and Bryan Bullington

Cecil is one of those guys JP has been banking on to make it as a very good ML starter. So far he's proving himself quite well.

I liked his delivery and his stuff.

And because of those two things, I think he will be able to pitch consistently even after teams have more tape on him and start to see him more.

I finally got to catch my first Jays game this year and watched Cecil win his first big league game, pretty impressive. How good is he capable of being? He has a good pitchers body and seemed to have a good arsenal of pitches, I know he's a 1st rounder but whats the word on him potential wise?

Otherwise its nice to have a bandwagon to be on again baseball wise, I really didn't see this strong start coming for Toronto, hope they keep it up.

Not too sure Donovan however Cecil's been in the pipeline for some time. I've heard that he's been called up a year or so earlier then what they'd like due to injuries and such so his performance is probably a little better then expected.

Anywho, this Yankee series is probably the biggest series for the Jays since that one year Tim Johnson managed the club and they had faint chances for the playoffs in early September, except the Jays are in first and it's in May. I know NY and Boston series tends to get a ton of people from those areas but i'm hoping we get more of a home town crowd this week against NY.
