Who can?.....besides the Yankees.
The Mets are spending "realistically".
How their money is spent is something else altogether.....but to expect them to spend more than they are this season is unrealistic.

Was at the game today... Derrek Lee- CRAZY man! two absolute bombs.. I like Tholme as a catcher -- maybe a little less pop, but he looks like he can hit for contact. Sullivan -- like him as a LF.

Wright? looks like his head still affected.. just sit him for the season at this point. Shines? UGH! no help with Sully or Tatis on the bases -- of course bad baserunning by the both of them.

I like Figgy - could be a nice #5 starter -- just ran into some bad luck today, but struck out 8.

Overall, good game to be at..

I canceled my mlb.tv account a few weeks ago; times are rough, and the $14.95/mo. could be put to better use. I'll catch our boys when they show up on national television. Thank goodness for football season.
