What is so frustrating is we seem to be stuck in the middle. We say we are going young, then we sign E.R. and Uribe. Now everyone is competing for a spot in Spring Training. Even with these signing our lineup doesn't scare anyone. I understand the need to put a solid team out. But go all out with vets or let the kids try.

I even made myself in The Show... 5 tool..superstar, and our lineup is still crap.

The Giants jumping the gun on Renteria Howry and Affeldt really took them out of the equation for Manny. If they had waited, they could have probably gotten those three for half the price or less. Really though, the front office had to look at the situation like a game of chess.. instead they played checkers. When there's a chance to add one of the best bats in the game, while hurting a division rival banking on that bat.. you've got to prepare for that. Then again, this IS the Giants way..
      I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't

No that is not true, it was Will Clark doing. He said that Manny would not be a good fit. I Will Clark. And he was my favorite Giants ever, but he is now dead to me! I tired of his cheerleader RAW RAW crap. The teams needs to be as one! Give me a break!! With Manny's talent you throw all that out the window. Just a stupid freaking move by the Giants!

Will Clarck always made me laugh. He was so intense. He always had the crazy eyes. But as soon as he talked I could never keep a straight face. He has the voice of a 10 year old boy. Cracks me up. Hell of a player. Always respected his approach to the game.

            Posey: AVG: .667 AB: 3 RBI: 2 SLG: .667

            Our Vets:

Only the first week of Spring, but the rookies are shinning. Nice line for Renteria...

In another failed veteran experiment..the Giants released Dave Roberts.

Thanks Doc, for nothing. The Giants were two years too late on this one.

I agree Pablo Sandoval will be the one to shine this season. I liked what I saw towards the end of last season. So far in Spring Training he's been putting up good numbers.

I really I am starting to like this team. I know it is Spring Training, but some of these hitters are starting to look good. Sandoval is the real deal.

The Giants are only going to have 11 pitchers on the 25 man roster. That shows a lot of trust for our starters to throw long games.

Burriss, Ishi and Sandoval are tearing it, especially Ishi's glove work. That's a nice young infield minus Renteria.

I am optimistic for this year also.

Opening Day Fellas. to a new season and a better looking lineup then last year. Remember Jose Castillo was our starting 3B last year.

I hope they get the game in today though. It's not to bad in the city right now.

If anyone is "sick" at home right now. There is a cool documentary called Inside the Clubhouse, showing Tim Lincecum's day when he won the Cy Young.

He was walking to the National Media Press Conference and he started to feel his beanie. He looks at the Giants publicist and says "I got a beanie on,.. whatever."

She says, "Whatever, you are you, right."

                                Gotta love it.
