I was a little surprised at Medders being the one to close it but he pitched well and I bet it feels good for him to stick it to his old team!

Funny, I had a feeling that after the foul ball the catcher tipped Bengie the next pitch courteously. This is how I read the following conversation.

            "Missed that one?"
            "Yep."
"Don't worry, I'll get you another one."

The D-backs are out of the race, I wouldn't be surprised if he advantaged him on that two strike pitch. It's happened before.

Anyone watching this Victor Conte thing? Apparently I'm not the only person that wants to see Bonds in a baseball uniform again, even next year.

I mean at least give him a chance. Let him prove that he can still do it. Let him do it in Spring Training where there's no penalty to striking out. Did you see tonight's attendance? 27,645 paid. That is ridiculous. You want to see 14,000 more people at that game? Just sign this guy for $50,000 for the rest of the season, good God people!

You can even see how his style of play pays off. Renteria looked good at the plate tonight drawing two walks, and his second walk proved to be very important. On base percentage is an important thing in baseball, and we need to get that first runner on more often. Molina is a good example of how he can come off the bench and perform or how home runs nullify the speed attribute. And as you said, Schierholtz isn't an everyday player. And with Winn who throws like a girl, even Bonds would have thrown out that runner tonight (though he's not a right fielder).

It's just embarrassing what Magowan did to him.

Of course I did. I don't leave until I hear Tony sing. Plus, I willed the Bengie homer.

Fun game tonight starting from the 7th inning. Before that, it was boos and quiet. I was sitting little behind the Giants Dugout, not the Field Club, but Lower Box, so I can hear the boos raining, especially that bunt attempt by Winn with 1 out down by 3.

I felt bad for Garko, if any one heard the post game wrap, John Miller was saying this must be one of the first times the clean up hitter got pinched hit for.

When Bengie came up though, we all stood and started the Ben-Gie chant, we needed something to cheer about. When he hit it I wasn't sure it had the distance as the CF was starting to square up on the wall. I started yelling at the bleachers to swat the ball out of his glove. When it cleared, no one sat down until Bengie came back for the curtain call.
Good win tonight. I am trying to score some tickets for this weekend.

2nd. I was there for both of them. Sandoval's Grand Slam when the all star fan voting started and tonight.

Just grab some from the dudes at the corner of McDonalds...LOL. Didn't know that your in the Bay Chizzypoof. Yeah I got tickets for Saturday's game and I believe Jeff Kent will be in the house for that one. I know he wore the Dodger blue but I'm sure he'll get a good reception from the fans.

Obviously Rowand was not expecting a fastball down the middle.
