Stupid "unwritten" rule, umpires should be paid to do their jobs correctly and look at the tag.

WOW ISHIKAWA! Way to sit on those fat pitches man, good job!

This is what drives me Crazy about Ishi he has major potential, but he is so inconsistent. Also, he needs to lay off the low slider. If he can do that he could be a good hitter. It reminds me of Matt Williams, he was always chasing that ball in the dirt. When he learn to lay off that he was sky to limits for him.

            Haha "**** that!"

It was a ball. Just like that 'ball beats runner' unwritten rule, it's not about where the catcher catches/frames it, but rather where the ball crosses the plate.

Looks like we won't have Wilson available for tomorrow night. He threw 41 pitches last night and is probably around 25 tonight.

I don't know, your closer is tired and you leave him. Bad managing if you ask me.

Interesting. Anyone think Schierholtz should have laid out for that? That is the ultimate dilemma... he misses, three runs score.

Bad throwing decision though, much like Rowand in Colorado.

Yeah Ishi would have been in the lineup that late anyways. Defensive sub.

Never a dull moment. We like to win the fun way.

Sounds like he's going for that approach. In his interview he's talking about trying to avoid rolling over so often.

No way Schierhotlz could lay out for that one, exactly what you said, he misses, three runs score.. but Lewis would have feet first.

I did feel that way when Romo came in. Maybe it was blind faith!

The thing about Ishi is the potential is high, if he learns to lay off that pitch. Skies the limit. He has the kinda power that can give you 25 to 30 HR's a year.

I just realized how important this home stand is, if we actually want to stay in the playoff picture. With Colorado playing the Dodgers we are going to gain ground on whoever loses, and then Colorado comes to town.

I'll be at the park tomorrow night.

the giants need at least 5 of the 6 games at home, if not all 6.
