Anyway, crazy night at the ballpark. I was standing in the Party Deck and saw the brawl. It was a little far away but it was nuts. I had a gut feeling Sunday night that the Reds were going to get swept in this series. It's not looking good. They're making stupid mistakes that they haven't made since early in the season. I say, come out Wednesday and play your game. If you get beat, you get beat. There are still plenty of games the rest of the season against opponents that they should beat. One series like this isn't going to kill them unless it screws them up mentally. I just want them going out west next week after this series and losing like 7 of 9 games.

Every thing that happened last night is on Phillips, he needs to keep his mouth shut and just play ball. You dont call a team a bunch of whinny ***** and then try to be all buddy buddy with him. If the Reds fall apart now you can blame it on BP, he should have just let the sleeping giant sleep. No need to wake up the Cards.

This was a horrible series. I had a gut feeling we would get swept, but not this bad. The Cardinals hammered us. Hopefully we can bounce back and get some momentum back.

No, the Cardinals are the ones complaining about everything. They're even complaining about Phillips saying they complain. How terrible is the statement about Cueto really? The guy was 11-2 heading into the game yesterday. All the poster said was consideration. He didn't say he was going win the darn thing. I wouldn't vote for him unless he lowered his ERA and had more wins. If he finished 18-3 with a 3.00 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP, he better be in the top-10 Cy Young votes. He wouldn't beat out Wainwright, Jimenez, or Halladay, for example, unless they fell off the rest of the year, which I doubt.

The Cards are still only 1 game up and the Reds could be back in first by the end of the weekend. Cueto had one bad outing, I dont blame him for a bad outing after what happened in the 1st inning. I would tell you to go back to the Cards forum and leave us alone but the infraction has already done that.

If the Cards needing an oposing player to say something to fire them up to make they play good, then I am pretty confident the Reds will win this division. The Reds have been really good at beating bad teams this year and they are getting ready to play 18 straight games vs bad teams. (Except for the 3 vs SF)

Long season left, and one game is nothing. If i remember right last year a six game lead was lost with one week left in season.

How do you lose 2 of 3 at home vs the Cubs??
Like I posted a couple days ago the Cards sweeping the Reds means nothing if the Cards then play like crap vs the Cubs. And what do you know 3 games after the sweep we are back in first by ourselves!

I love it how the cardinals play the reds well, but cant play the fricking cubs good.
This upcoming road trip will be biggest in the year, the reds need to play well on the west, or they could be out of first place again.
