maybe it's cause I don't follow the Twins real closely, but those jerseys don't look much different than what they've been wearing before.

And again with the pinstripes, just to copy the yankees

Yeah we want be just like the Yankees....almost as much as the Red Sox do!

Those jerseys aren't much different than our current ones. The only difference is these are sleeveless and the undershirt is blue.

Seems like more and more teams are switching over to the sleeveless jerseys.

So far I think the Rockies, Royal, Indians and now Twins. Probably more than that too.

          Jesse Crain
          Justin Morneau
          J.C. Romero

Well you can remove Romero from that list. That was a terrible trade we made. I think we could have at least gotten someone that could play with us this year, or is closer to the majors than a low A SS. So far we have not done a single thing to make me think we are going to add the bat we need.

Yeah, I have no idea what are management was thinking when they made that trade. Sounded like Romero wanted out pretty bad though.

On ESPN, they said maybe Mike Piazza would play for the Twins. But that won't happen because he'll want to much $$$$.

well Jacque Jones rejected our salary arbitration offer so I am guessing he is officially gone. There are rumors of him signing with the Cubs.

                    Re: Minnesota Twins 05 edition

Losing Jacque Jones might not be that bad. I mean it opens up some salary cap space and Lew Ford could play about the same with Jason Kubel being available if needed. The bad thing about losing Jones is that he was Torii Hunter's best friend which might make Hunter want to leave(was rumors of him going to New York or something).

Also today I just seen that the Twins signed Tony Batista(3B), I'm not to familiar with him. How good our his numbers, does he have any power, what's his defenseive skills like? I'd like to sign Mike Piazza or Frank Thomas to DH. I know they're both injury prone, but both had power which is needed. I can't wait to see some more moves!

Right now this is how things look:
                    Starting Rotation - (1)Santana, (2)Radke, (3)Silva, (4)Baker, & (5)Liriano/Lohse

                    Defensive Allignment -
                    C - Joe Mauer
                    1B - Justin Morneau
                    2B - Luis Castilla (Sp?)
SS - Bartlett (not really sure)
                    3B - Tony Batista
RF - Lew Ford / Jason Kubel
                    CF - Torii Hunter
                    LF - Shannon Stewart
                    DH - ??? (Possilby M.LeCroy)
                    Colorado Avalanche (NHL)
                    Denver Nuggets (NBA)
                    Green Bay Packers (NFL)
                    Iowa Hawkeyes (NCAA)
                    Minnesota Twins (MLB)
