Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
I feel a strange sense of calmness. I don't know why. My rational side keeps telling me: "There's no bullpen. You can't win without a bullpen". But then my irrational, emotional heart tells me: "These guys have balls of steel. They'll keep fighting".
We'll see. This is certainly the first time this season that they've been "backed against a wall". I have no clue what to expect. Baltimore plays us real tough, they will not a be a cake walk by any means.
I posted about a month ago in this thread, if they don't get Schilling and Foulke back to 85-90% of what they provided in 2004, they were in deep dogcrap. Hello dogcrap. Anybody got a scooper?Comment

thanks brush, those pics did bring a smile to my face
all the while i still feel like ****, want to die, and I'm finishing my second screwdriver and about to start on my third
i hope they rig the visitors clubhouse in baltimore with explosives, and they end this clusterfukk right soon instead of dragging me through the next week and half/two weeks of this crap.

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
Not surprising after Foulke didn't pitch in the 15-2 game. This bullpen desperately needs somebody to step up. I think they've been too cautious with Papelbon, Hansen and Delcarmen. These guys havn't been seen by many hitters and have the velocity to get people out. Everyone worries about "ruining" them, but realistically if a few bad performances in their rookie year ruins them, they probably wouldn't have amounted to much anyways.Comment

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
I really don't understand why they didn't bring Papelbon in last night. Timlin is HORRRRRRRRRRIBLE when he inherits runners, so why in the hell would you bring him in, up by 1, with runners on. Bing in papelbon and his heat and let him earn his pay.Comment
