Apparently they realized that we never replaced Embree.

i read he won't be eligible for post-season play, so we basically gave up two prospects for 4 days of Mike Stanton.

Their is no way we can get him on the playoff roster via the KRod rule once Foulke is DLed?

To be eligible for the playoffs he would have to be added by August 31st. I believe K-Rod was eligible for the Angels because he was in their organization on August 31st, even though he wasn't called up until September.

It was just a move to add a lefty to the pen for the yankee series. Hopefully it doesn't backfire -cough-remlinger-cough-

Playoff teams shouldn't be allowing Hinske to steal 3rd and home in one play. Plain and simple.

The Stanton move is one of desperation. This team is horribly flawed and unlikely to make any noise in the playoffs, should they get there. Just be glad Torre was dumb enough to align his rotation so that Small does not pitch this weekend in Boston.

Ahh, 2-run homer for Catalonatto. I'm officially not watching this game. Its bad enough this team can't take 3 of 4 from Toronto at home, but they might not even split and thats just sad.

Wow, this is brutal. I thought I felt pain as a Expos fan, but this hurts. We just cannot seem to beat the Jays, and it's down right pathetic.

It had nothing to do with aligning the rotation... who else could have pitched today if he wanted Johnson to start against you guys?

Anyways.. as much as I despise the Red Sox... I want both the Yanks and Sox to make the playoffs because I love the excitement and the anticipation of a matchup.. plus theres no team I'd rather beat on National TV.

Clement gets out of a bases loaded, 1 out jam...still 4-1.

That will comeback to haunt them, not scoring.
