    Just heard about this today.

Anyone have any clue who the teammate making the comments was?

Honestly, I dont really care about that Schilling thing. More concerned with that beauty of a splitter he just got Johnson on.

Let's go offense...we have no pitching so you're gonna have to carry us to the playoffs.

Now this has been bad managing. Franconca, more often than not, leaves Schilling in too long. He should have gotten one batter in the 7th and if he didnt get the lead off man go to someone else. As a result, Francona leaves him in to face two guys who have hit him well (Catalonatto and Wells) when he clearly has nothing left. We know the bullpen sucks, but sometimes you have to go to them in the 7th and give them a chance. Hopefully the duo of Myers and Bradford can wiggle out of this without surrendering the lead.

I don't have a problem with leaving Schilling in to face Wells. He may have been on fumes, but Schilling gets paid to pitch those situations. This is balls to the wall time, no point in pulling starters until it's clear they don't have it. That's not Francona's fault there IMO. He had the reliever warmed and ready to go, so there was no mismanagement by Francona.

It's obvious that Schilling is struggling with his decline. The guy looks like a mental case. An off season of rest seems to be the best thing for him. Hopefully he doesn't go mental in these last few weeks. Losing sucks, but it's not the end of the world. I'm not so certain if Schilling understands that him sucking does not equate to the end of the universe.

Well Sox lose 7-5, but no team gains anything tonight, unless the Yanks pull something out of their ***.

I just can't wait for this weekend series.

                            Hey, I got some power.

Jays wasted a perfect opportunity for more runs right there. How you don't drive in atleast 1 run with bases loaded, only 1 out baffles me.
