Yeah, and I have to sit back and wonder what would've happened had Brian Thornton been healthy. If you go back to the GW game that was on ESPN, where Xavier blew that game, had they won that game...it could've possibly changed the entire season for Xavier.

Wow, what a comeback by Xavier.

XU was down 10, and is now tied at 59, and XU going to the line.

should be about a second left for St Joe's , and they get to inbound under the basket, down 1.

wow, 2 blocks in a row for Xavier, and they win.

Imagine what it was like to be there in person. I still have goosebumps. At the beginning of the year, I thought X had a great shot at winning the league. I never anticipated what actually happened. How could one do so? Winning the tournament in 4 days for the second time and going through what they went through this year makes this win that much sweeter. What a great 4 days of basketball for the Muskies. Not always pretty, but they did enough to win. Look forward to tomorrow and seeing where they end up.

Alright, let's fire this puppy up again for 2006-07.

For the week so far, the A-10 has played 10 games and the only team to lose one was St. Bonaventure to Chicago State on Thursday night in some tournament. Glad basketball is back!

I'm hoping SLU has a good season, they're one of my favorite teams, I'm also anxious to see how Tommie Liddell and Kevin Lisch do this season since both are from this area and I followed their high school careers pretty closely.
                    Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
                    NFL- Cleveland Browns
                    MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
                    NBA- Boston Celtics
                    NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Should be another down year for Richmond as it will take another year or two of recruiting to get the type of players Mooney wants to fit his style and system. I just think with the tough admission reqiurements, Richmond would have been better off staying in the CAA. Usually always near the top of that league and normally a decent shot at winning the conf tourney. Oh well, at least the 03/04 season is still somewhat fresh in memory.

Will be at the SLU/UR game though in Jan.

Marcus Johnson for UD is gonna be a great player. 23 points in his debut, mighty impressive.

Where did they get him? I don't know who all Gregory brought in for UD this season.

from St. Vincent-St. Mary's. The same HS Lebron went to.

Okay, thanks. I'll be honest, I don't do a ton of research before the season starts on other teams in the conference. Usually learn who and the heck everyone is by watching A-10 network games on tv and when they roll into Cincy to play X. I hope UD bounces back some though. They've had a couple of down years. Miss the intensity of their rivalry with X when both teams are doing well.

Charlotte beats Hofstra Saturday and then lays an egg against North Texas on Sunday. The annual early season loss to a team they have no right to lose to by Bobby Lutz. Road games at Syracuse, Indiana and Mississippi State make up 3 of their next 4 games, things could get a lot worse before they get better. They are trying to incorporate 6 new players(7 if you count a returning EJ Drayton who sat out all last season with a medical redshirt).

And the guy in my avatar can't play because the NCAA hasn't ruled on his eligability yet.
