Wow! Ruoff exploded for 38 points on 9/14 from downtown tonight in an 89-54 victory over Radford by the Mountaineers! It's nice to see him back in rhythm!

And the Mountaineers shot 72% from the free throw line. That's nice to see, though that isn't quite as good as I'd like.

Looks like he's made a nice recovery from his injury and illness. I think he's definitely the most complete player WVU has so it's nice to see him back in the swing things just before conference play starts. Huge game coming up Saturday against the Buckeyes. After letting the UK and Davidson games slip away, we really need this out of conference win.

don't worry about Louisville, they'll be fine. Come March we'll be one of the strongest teams in the country. UofL is getting a humbling experience right now. Trust me, they'll be fine.

                No surprise, Syracuse reinstates Devendorf.

West Virginia is going to be a load to deal with in the Big East. They're young and they can be frustrated, but if they get it going like today, they are tough to beat. And let me add to this, Huggins doesn't get enough praise for how great of a coach he is. He's always looked upon to do something wrong or yelling or whatnot, but seldom given the credit he deserves for the great job of coaching he does.

It must be the Holiday season, as I just Huggie a compliment.

UofL bounced back with a 20pt victory over UAB. UofL looked 10 times better tonight than they did last weekend vs Minnesota. Samuels handled the double team much better tonight.

This WVU team is really starting to improve with Ruoff back, even though starting PG Joe Mazzula is still sidelined with an injury. Even with Ruoff struggling most of the night, Ebanks, Truck Bryant, and others stepped up huge today.

I thought WVU would be blown out by Ohio State if anything. Not beat the Buckeyes by 28 on their home floor in Columbus!

Nice win for the 'ole tournament resume.

I'm hearing that Mazzulla might not return this season and he'll apply for a medical redshirt. That would be huge come tournament time because he's a guy that's been there and has that experience that Truck doesn't have playing in big games like that. With Mazzulla in the lineup, this team could be a legitimate Sweet 16 team or more. Without him I'm not sure they can get past the 1st or 2nd round of the tournament, assuming they make it.

I'm not shocked @ the WV win. I'm floored by the margin. Good day to be a Mountaineer fan.

                              In my dreams:
                              RU - 78
                              UNC - 77

                              In reality:
                              RU - 55
                              UNC - 103

Also, these next 3 games will be rape. We play the #s 1, 2, and 3 teams in the country, lol. I'm predicting we will be outscored in those 3 games by like 115 combined.

Ditto, I fully expected WVU to win the game. OSU is overrated as hell, but 28 points is amazing.
