Exactly, which means like Marquette you guys still have virtually no front line.

Deonta Vaughn. Thats who I'd remove.

I dunno, 17/4/3 as a sophomore and he's one of the best shooters in the conference. He doesn't play on a great team but he deserves to be up there.

Verizon on Demand has the March Madness for my Hoyas.

It is TERRIBLE. It's 22 minutes with long with about 1 minute of actually showing highlights from the scrimmage.

I am getting excited for Sunday. Going to watch UofL's open scrimmage.

It's funny that the local media here in CT is all agreeing that UConn is overrated and has no business being the preseason #1. Even Calhoun said if he voted (coaches exclude their own teams from their ballots) he would have picked UConn fourth. Not sure how much of this is psychology and how much of it is truth.

Here's one of the articles from a local writer. He does make some good points that everyone is aware of but he also acts like UConn is the only team in the conference with question marks going into the season.

The Big East is officially loaded. Seven teams from the conference made the initial ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ poll, which was released on Thursday.

North Carolina is ranked No. 1 in the poll after receiving all 31 first-place votes.

UConn followed at No. 2 and Louisville at No. 3.

Two other Big East teams made the Top 10: No. 6 Pittsburgh and No. 9 Notre Dame. Marquette chimed in at No. 17, Georgetown at No. 18 and Villanova at No. 25. Two other Big East teams — Syracuse and West Virginia — also received votes.

“It’s the best league in the country by far, it’s not even close,” ESPN analyst Jay Bilas said of the Big East. “You can be the 10th-best team in the league and one of the top 50 teams in the country. It’s a joke how deep this league is.”

Since when did Cuse have problems recruiting?

Yeah really. All they have done is steal stud players out of Philly.
