G'town has been playing as good as anyone in the country right now. WVU may have a shot, but OHST has none. OHST is too inconsistent at every aspect of the game. If Turner is a now show the team might as well give up.

Playing as good as anyone in the country is laughable. Now I'm not disagreeing that Duke has the lightest bracket. However when it comes to the Hoyas you just don't know which team will show up. Do they play like they did last weekend or how they played in Feb

They're likely overseeded because they beat the crap out of the #1 and #2 seeds in the South when those teams visited D.C.
        NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
        NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
        MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
        NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)

And also lost to Rutgers in NJ and USF at home. Now Nova is overseeded as well but I thought there were too many teams over and underseeded

I have to admit that cruse is a better team than Duke, and Florida I belived shouldn't be in the tourny.

Dook earned their 1 seed. The argument that their entire bracket "lays out easily" for them is in the eye of the beholder really, that's seeding for you. Maybe they got a lucky draw, maybe they get dropped early, who knows.
Well what is it, Body of work or how you ended the season? Syracuse played better than Duke for an entire season, minus the last two games. Not to mention that the Big East is about 100X better than the ACC this season, I would put Georgetown Ahead of Duke if they played in the ACC.

Im not gonna sit here and complain about The Orange getting slighted, because they are a #1 seed in a bracket that is not horrible. But To say Duke deserves a better #1 seed more than, well then we should obviously just cancel the first 15 games of the season because they appearently dont matter.

BTW, I am perfectly happy with Syracuse's bracket because I do not want to play Louisville or Nova again. Just remember, as good as Syracuse is, Louisville beat us twice. Personally I think Louisville knocks off Duke...

Can someone explain to me the infatuation with Cornell? I honestly don't think they have a chance against Temple. Temple has beaten lots of solid teams this year, while Cornell hasn't really beaten anyone.

The fact that the one ESPN guy had him in the Elite 8 had me rolling.

Reasons people have cornell making Sweet 16 or Elite 8 is, because they have similar aspects as the 06 George Mason team. Which you didn't know, was seeded as #11, and made the Final Four. I doubt they make the Sweet 16, but I do have them beating Temple. Not saying they won't make the Sweet 16 or Elite 8, but it's more than likely not going to happen.

Louisville very well could if Duke is cold from the floor. I don't know if Duke is better than Syracuse, but I do agree with their seeds. I think the committee showed that the regular season AND the conf tourneys matter, not just one of them. In my opinion if they would have put too much emphasis on the end of the year then they would have given OhioSt a 1 as well and they clearly didn't. We'll see how it plays out.

As much as I HATE dook, they earned a #1 seed. It was(or at least around these parts)well known that if dook were to win out the ACC Tournament that they would get a number 1 seed, so I don't know why everyone is all of a sudden acting surprised to see dook get it.

Should they be the 3rd overall seed though? Probably not.
Is it sad that they got that easy *** region?(which let's be realistic, everyone here know's that they have a road paved for them to get to Indy BUT...that's why we play the games )Yes but what isn't sad is them getting a #1 seed since they did everything they needed to do to get it.

Can't believe I actually just defended dook on here. I feel dirty all of a sudden now.

Good thing the NFL Doesn't use the NCAA Formula because the Colts would not have gotten the #1 seed in the AFC East. If a Team has a #1 seed wrapped up, are you really going to penalize them for losing games when they bench players who would normally be playing?

Syracuse Won the Big East Regular Season Title, Are you going to sit there and tell me that winning a 6 games is more impressive than winning 16 games? Granted Duke did finish very strong and they deserve a #1 seed, but Syracuse has been far more impressive as a whole than duke.

As far as Louisville goes, they force you to make bad shots. I am pretty confident that the Cards pull the upset. Everyone keeps on saying that Duke got an easy bracket, but I see alot of teams that are def. Capable of beating them.

I think Dook eats L'ville alive. At least a double-digit win due to their guards being a lot better than Pitino's bunch. I hate the Blue Devils just as much as any other non-bandwagon fan but they actually have decent frontcourt depth now.
