Yeah, I don't really see it either. With Okafor, Turner is more a luxury than a need. It's kinda like Wiggins with UK. UK didn't need Wiggins but it would have been nice to have him. That's how I feel about Turner. Now Winslow is a whole 'nother story.

Louisville added a 5th to the 2014 class, 7'2" Norwegian center Matz Stockman.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Daniel Hamilton won't sign an LOI with UConn. He verbal'd in May.

A lot will depend on if Embiid stays/goes at KU. If he goes, I think KU are the favorites. If he stays it's a different story...
I disagree. I think Texas is right there as well. I wish Kentucky could have gotten him because he is better than both Lyles & Towns (imo), but you don't turn down a top 10 guy for a chance of a top 5 one lol.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Having a hall of fame coach helps a lot lol. I'm sure the turnaround SMU has made this year is making it easier to recruit too. Him and Mudiay next year would be a great inside/outside combo.

Yeah I agree. SMU is the dark horse. Only way I see him coming is if Embiid stays and Myles dad can convince him to come.MLB: Texas Rangers

Personally I think Towns may be the best player in the class not named Mudiay.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Turner is a fantastic prospect, but I wholeheartedly disagree that he is better than either Lyles or Towns. It's possible he may turn out better than them both in the end but Towns and Lyles are extremely skilled big man. Turner, at this stage, is a "prospect."

As far as top players, I'd go Mudiay #1, Stanley Johnson #2 & Turner #3. Okafor/Cliff Alexander/Towns somewhere after that and then Tyus Jones/Lyles.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals
