Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Like I said in the 2013 thread:
I wonder when it will be decided if Andrew Wiggins will reclassify to the 2013 class, or stay in the 14 class.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
No commits for Michigan for 2014 yet, but they're right at the top of the list for Devin Booker (#27 in the nation per Rivals and Keita Bates-Diop (#42). KBD in particular is going to be a dogfight with Illinois and Purdue, and schools like Kansas and Duke are starting to show interest too.
UM's in on Trevon Bluiett and Jae'Sean Tate, too, but I haven't heard anything that makes me feel confident about Bluiett, and Tate's all Buckeye.Comment

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Duke's main targets:
5* PG Tyus Jones
5* C Jahlil Okafor
5* F Justise Winslow
4* F Theo Pinson
5* SG Andrew Wiggins
Not sure where they stand with any of them.Comment

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
EDIT: Wiggins is doing what he needs to do in order to reclassify, whether he announces or not, I don't know. He will likely reclassify before it is all said and done though.Last edited by PhantomPain; 08-11-2012, 10:41 AM.#WeAreUKComment

I want Chris McCullough in a St. John's uniform.
That is all.
He is St. John's #1 target. Go Lavin!

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Figured I'd bump this as the early signing period for the '13 class is coming up. Duke is still going hard after:
5* PG Tyus Jones
5* C Jahlil Okafor
5* F Theo Pinson
5* F Justise Winslow
3* PG JaQuel Richmond
Jones, Okafor, and Pinson all visited Duke last weekend for their midnight madness event and seemed to enjoy themselves...Winslow was allegedly supposed to join them but decided to honor his previously scheduled visit to Arizona (that's what I've read at least). Richmond seems to be a backup plan for Jones. I think Duke is in pretty decent shape with Jones, Winslow, and Pinson, but I have no idea about Okafor and I'm sure other schools are hammering him with the "Duke big men" stuff.Comment

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Tyus Jones keeps a "recruiting diary" and posted an update on his visit to Duke/UNC with Okafor and Pinson. Thought this part was pretty funny:
After the practice we headed over to North Carolina and went to their practice. We had a good time over there just watching how hard they work and talking with the players and coaches after practice. Then we shot around in the Dean Dome, which was really fun.
Me, Theo and Jahlil were out there shooting around and we found the spot where Austin Rivers hit that crazy buzzer beater three to win the game last season. So we started to reenact it. All in fun though. Theo was the first one to make it.

Re: 2014 Recruiting Thread
So they went to UNC and re-enacted a Duke buzzer beater?
Yeaaaaaah..Coach K's got this in the bag.
I think it's time Roy Williams starts grooming his assistants to take the top spot. He's being out recruited by his ACC peers. And with the influx of a Big East schools coming and his own health issues, might be a good time to hang it up.Comment
