I actually thought Auburn was the team to beat and underranked but man they were out of sorts Saturday. As a Kentucky fan, I'm not complaining, but Auburn looked like they had no sense of urgency.

        MLB: Atlanta Braves
        NBA: San Antonio Spurs

Auburn was out of sorts. I think they were feeling the hype after embarrassing South Carolina earlier by 40. And Kentucky was the perfect trap game. Quite the opposite. They were being called overrated and soft. And they manned up. And played like I've never seen them play before.

But more importantly Kentucky took the crowd out of it early and often. They had the perfect start. They just were the aggressors all night long. Auburn was never the aggressor and that's how you win a game in that hostile environment. Kentucky was physical and Auburn didn't have the same fight UK had that night.

I’ve been slowly transitioning over to College Hoops(Men’s and Women’s)since Football ended since NBA is kinda boring right now.

Right now, seems like the SEC is where the best ball is being played at from a lot of teams.

The thing you can't beat in CBB is the rivalries and the passionate fanbases. You don't get that much in the NBA anymore. There might be some extra juice for the Celtics and Knicks or the Clips and Lakers. But it's not like Duke and Carolina at Cameron or a huge game at the Phog Kentucky and Tennessee at Rupp etc..

I also believe that for better or worse the transfer portal and their immediate eligibility has made everything much more competitive and fazed out the OAD era.

So there is tremendous balance and parity everywhere. It's a different league now. For me there's a bit too much parity but it's great for the sport.

I'm bias but I think the SEC is one of the best conferences this year. It's amazing the transformation. Because the SEC was traditionally a football conference. And now it's 9-10 deep with teams that can beat anybody. It's a gauntlet.

Eight minutes in and Tennessee-Missouri have combined for more turnovers (10) than points (6). It’s every bit as ugly as it sounds.

Still just the first half but UCONN is getting all it can handle and more from Creighton right now

Jays are just shooting lights out. That'll come back down in the end half.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

They are. But UConn is extremely flat and the Jays have the crowd into it early and often.

Creighton is one of my sleeper teams next month for March Madness, Baylor Scheierman is a bucket getter although hes struggling tonight and Ryan Kalkbrenner is a mismatch at 7' 1".

I was just thinking that lol. Not to be a prisoner of the moment. But Creighton would not be a fun draw to get in the tourney.
