That's what i sort of don't understand about why it hasn't come back, they could totally implement VC with the old crew mode and its a WIN WIN. They would be getting there micro-transactions from people who like to unload there credit cards (Which im totally against but i see why there doing it) with the things you guys talked about, upgraded arenas, jerseys, coaches, and things like that but for people like us we can earn our vc through playing games and stuff while still playing crew the way its suppose to be played

Also they have to realize even the casual gamer has problems with the park. Having to wait around and the struggle it is to get into a game with a friend, not to mention the server problems, completely killed that mode for a lot of people. They should just bring us their best, what the fans have been asking for forever, a 2K11 styled crew mode where our standings and stats track.

Also is there anyone out there who prefers a game to 21 rather than qtrs? Seriously, whose idea was this to have, especially for the PS3 crews in 2k14, just idiotic.

I want to preorder but it's in 2Ks hands. Destiny, Fifa, and FFXIV should keep me occupied. The NBA is my favorite sport but the way 2K treats their biggest fans rubs me off the wrong way every year, I feel guilty just buying it if we're getting some half assed park garbage again.

That first part's actually a good point.

Casuals hop on for an hour. They aren't looking to sit and wait for 20 minutes just to start a game. And if you go online when there's a lot of users on, in a park with like 80 people, you'd be lucky to get one game in in a one hour session.

Idk, 2K seems so backwards nowadays.

They're too ignorant to understand all Crew ever was was just Team Up with a couple tweaks, literally would not take any effort to put it back in the game the way it was 5 years ago.
Yet they all want Classic Teams so bad. They want 2K to go out, spend time and money asking each player individually to use their likeness in a game.

But no, adding in Crew is the thing that would take away development time and attention.

Well, I'm not saying crew isn't a bad idea but, it's more of contacting people/looking who's part of the players association and adding a couple teams to a roster file/creating art files vs adding a mode coded fully along with adjustment of servers communicating with data of 10 unique players (but The Park probably has that in set) Nothing wrong with wanting both but how both works being "added" are pretty different.

I honestly think both will be done. The Crew thing honestly looks like it's been a "3-year plan" with 2K.

2K13: myPlayer Blacktop (testing server communication w/ unique players + myPlayers being connected with 2K server for an anti-cheat solution)

Like I don't know what the myCareer team would do, if there was a team that is. Little things like D-League would be amazing, and the entire thing with VC irks it in the wrong way.

And then we have the Park. Which is a decent concept on Paper, but I was watching some old Live 10 stuff and was thinking about the Crew concept and I think it would be amazing to mesh Crew + Park together. The Player spectate thing (as a Crew) and being able to call next and then play a full length game with a crowd a fans. (That's not all of it though)

I have a concept of Crew in my head that would make it instantly competitive worldwide, but if 2K was to do it, it would become "buy VC now to do get a boost" if it's similar to the current VC problem.

Keep VC to buy shoes, clothes, gear, court and jersey upgrades, better coaches, better teams for the base..have the sixers be like 1000 VC and the Thunder be like 5K....just suggestions

In a perfect world VC would be a side-thing, let us rank our guys up ourselves; keep it truly competitive.

Posts like these are the reason we have VC in everything nowadays.

I've met people like you when I was on the 2K Forums. I would invite them to play w/ my crew to see how fun it was to be able to play w/ a top, legit playing crew.

Every time, we changed their views on Crew and they loved it. Wish the servers were still up so I could show you.

I really don't see how anyone couldn't like Crew mode if they tried it lol. Unless you just didn't have a good team and/or your MP wasn't good or you just simply wasn't good.

I mean, what's to hate? I understand there was hacks, but honestly me and my crew rarely played them, there was workarounds. You got to play as one individual w/ human teammates that's your boys competing against other teammates w/ their unique styles. You had to actually build chemistry w/ each other.

Besides everyone being highly rated, that's as sim as it could get and to be playing as one person. And people actually making human mistakes and reads. The ratings really canceled each other out because everyone was on a even playing field. If you're a 99 against other 80-90 Overalls and you aren't good, it'll show if you don't have bball IQ or no stick skills.

I honestly feel sorry for a lot of people that missed out on Crew on 2K11. I doubt it'll ever be the same.

That makes sense. I guess I could never get a decent team together but the way you put it, I like it.
