Man, I miss that on the 2K Forums. I wish I could go look at it now to see the box scores of my old Crew games.

I'm just lucky I still have tons of Crew videos on my YouTube and stashed on my CPU to go back and witness how fun 2K11 Crew was and how great the game was overall.

Crew seems to be just moving from playground to stadium with refs . 2k has moved on. Myteam is the most popular mode now. The park will be upgraded to allow 5on5 teams of friends seeing how a outside setting fits created players perfectly. You want OLD new mode not REAL crew. 2k has evolved into a monopoly with EA committing suicide. People love "the park" and the cries for crew are buried by diamond/sapphire NBA Pokemon cards. Crew is a memory welcome to 2014.


PS if old crew was bought back you will most likely get VC RAPED by playing it.

Im not saying that there isn't any validity to what you're saying, but why so negative my friend? With as much feedback as we get from the 2k community about this topic, and the backlash received from guys like qjb, kspade and the others invited to 2ksports over the summer. There's no way that 2k can keep ignoring the fanbase like this. The people WANT CREW MODE back the way it was.
But i guess if the social media guy over at 2k is just focusing on, backflip dunks, handing out free vc, and playing who wants to be a millionaire with these "rare" diamond/ruby/emerald pokemon...umm i mean myteam cards, then i can see why you might feel that way. Chris Manning doesn't do much to ease the pain either. One minute he's on the forums telling us he's on our side, then the next minute we see him with ronnie 2k and some random "it girl of the month" 2k15 saying how great this game is without our CREW mode in it. i dunno...day by day i lose faith in this company and the folks that represent it to bring forth and to translate to the developers what we as fans want and expect from the 2k community.

This whole "YOUR TIME HAS COME" thing is probably more hyperbole than anything...My faith in 2k is at an all-time low.

I would actually like to see numbers on how many people want Crew mode back and how many people would actually play it.

I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it back but from what I see it's an 8 page thread with the main catalyst being a member of the #2 ranked crew.

Dont let the suit and tie fool you bro. I represent for the people that play this game that are actually GOOD at 2k. Not the ones who come on and complain about ruby myteam cards, or cheese vs sim or whatever it is that the average person gripes about on here.

The level of competition I'm bred from don't have the time to chime in, thinks its a waste of time to voice their opinions(with good reason i might add), or think very little of 2ksports community(You ever tried calling 2ksports Tech Support over the past 4 years?).

I on the other hand believe in having patience and getting things done the right way. How ever, whats the point of being good at a game and hanging out with other folks that are just as good at the game as me, and not reaching out to the other side to help when you can? Me being ranked in 2k11 crew has no bearing whatsoever on what i do on operation sports. I chime in when i can, voice my opinion on posts, i hit up twitter, i start threads here, and im also not greedy when it comes to sharing knowledge when i can with other community members. If Crew mode was brought back in 2k14, Clearly there was more than 8 pages of folks who wanted this mode back.

You're not raining on my parade, i just realize that i have a voice that needs to be heard, and clearly im not the only one who feels that the REAL crew mode is way overdue for ps4 & xbox 1.

play at the park. get cool with a few folks that you run with. You guys might even rack up a few wins. Add them to your friends list. Invite them to hit you up whenever they get on to run. It wont matter who you play against, your friendship will allow you to compete against a anyone and have a good time doing it.

You'll be surprised at how many people want this mode back. I know OS and the people I know is kind of the minority, but mostly everyone I talk to wants Crew Mode back.

I admit, people aren't talking about it that heavily on OS anymore, but go 1-2 years back and people on OS were getting irritated by how many crew related threads their were and people talking about Crew every time 2K announced something. They still get on LD2K and them a lot. Watch the comments if he does a live stream or Q&A.

What you have to take account is Crew has been gone for some years now and a lot of people has given up hope 2K will bring it back. I am almost done with it. If it's not in 2K15, I'm officially done. That's cool. Thanks for the feedback guys, hopefully it makes its way back in. I would definitely be interested in it, the park was pretty fun when I played. There are way too many idiots on it though, no one preaches the fundamentals anymore.

Traded the game in about a week ago but maybe I'll try to find it cheap and play some more park. It would be nice to find some guys that played "sim"

Honestly, even through all those things mentioned above, i still found time to enjoy the mode for what it was. I wont go into why this mode is so great, but i will say this...my competitive spirit was matched only by thoise who i played with and against who i took losses to, which only made the bond that i shared with my xbox friends THAT MUCH stronger.

I made bros for life playing Crew mode. Now me and the fellas will sit in an xbox party and lollygag, and BS for a while and talk about anything just to pass time. But that didnt happen overnight...That bond we share now was forged playing CREW MODE. We hear any news on crew and we kinda just laugh because, 2k'S "PERCEIVED CASUAL COMMUNITY" would rather play MyTeam mode or Parks. Not that theres anything wong with either mode, it's just that neither mode really compliments MYPlayer Mode the way that MYCREW mode does. The whole point of MYplayer mode seems anti-climactic if in the end we work hard on our guys just to run in around in a park to play basketball.

IMAGINE IF EVERY KID IN AMERICA went to practices and training for years, working on their jumpshot, their crossovers, their defense, getting prepped for college.....JUST TO GO PLAY outside in a park.

Yeah thats the experience 2k sets up for us...Miss me with the BS, but 2k NEEDS a Multiplayer Online Game mode where there is TRUE competition, Stats and an Online Leaderboard to track of how everyone is doing. Every other company seems to be able to do it in 2014, why can't we? And for the love of all things basketball, can we get more support for this mode back folks?

You guys are quick to complain when there's a bug or glitch in the game, or if lebrons headband is too high, or someones face doesnt look right, but a whole game mode goes missing, and ya'll are mum on the word or act like it being missing for so long doesn't compare to lesser things than say A RUBY CARD or a FEMALE MYplayers, or let me not forget MYGM mode....

Get it together folks...we're getting played by 2k everyday...dont give up faith in whats right. VOICE YOUR OPINIONS!

Last time when the servers were down I turned on the livestream that Ronnie and LD2K were doing at the same time just to see what people in the chat were saying, there must a been a thousand people just spamming "Crew" in the chat.

I think 2K knows we want Crew back but with VC and everything I bet they're trying to maximize the profits they'll get in return for implementing VC into the mode. It's dumb, but look at all the modes we got now...everything is tied into VC, and if they bring Crew back expect the people willing to put out extra money on a $60 game to get an unfair advantage...

See, I'd pay $20 for a Crew DLC right now..but that's different, because it's not included already...2K needs to understand if it's in the original game leave it be, let us play thru our season to get better...then you won't have these 99 overall bought scrubs who have no clue how to play real ball crowding the servers like they do on Park now..jackin up 20 3's a game and spamming turbo into the paint for dunks. It gets boring after awhile.

I'm just saying, I feel if they bring back Crew now it'll be just as cheesy as 2K11's was with all the hackers, because it's just as easy to buy your players now. I loved, like really loved Crew. Even since 2K10...but all my friends got into it in 11 and we had tons of fun. If they can find a way to balance it out, so people who jack 3's and stuff don't get any advantages then I'm all for it...
but honestly I see them making Crew like a big Park thing and screwing it up. I have little faith in 2K bringing back what we all really want.

you are the minority if you see on social media. Its all about pokemon cards now. Crew wasnt the best mode to MANY people. Offline association, online association and myteam dominate the scene right now. Myteam is the post popular mode and will be even more in 2k15.

Many buy a nba game for nba players. using created players isnt reallly anything special . Those of us with families and fulltime jobs wouldnt even have time to play to build up a character to go against all the 99 VC farmed players that would be in the mode.

I admire your spirit kid but commenting on only one forum in with so many other more active sports gaming forums wont do you any good. Operation sports NBA 2k forums are barely active any more. Many are enjoying myteam and park.
