Started to play a game in mygm mode and had to save it at the beginning of the 4th quarter. When I went to resume the game just now, I kept on getting the "checking the internet connection" and am not able to start mygm mode. It sucks, but I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue. Hope 2k can fix this....and also get melo his headband back

I think thats just a message to make people feel better. Getting all that hate is coming in. Gotta silence the masses.

Just need to point out, how is this helpful in getting anything done? Not to single you out, but I still think guys are going way overboard with some of these reactions.

There are people in pretty much every thread bitching about 2K not caring because they aren't saying anything to even address problems with the game. Guys are saying how they could at least respond to address they know there's a problem and then when they do, this is the kind of sentiment coming their way. Not defending them or saying they haven't screwed up big time with this game, but surely people can drop their pitchforks long enough to realize how ridiculous and unfair some of us are being in all of this? It's a double edged sword for pretty much anything they do.

How ridiculous and unfair is it to pay $60 for a game and you can't even play it because of incompetence at 2K Sports?... They deserve every bit of the criticism coming their way..

Oh good, I was able to use the VC code for 5,000 VC that I can't currently use thanks to the servers being down... this makes up for it... right?...

which vc code is that?

Link? I missed out on the 10k VC Xmas one so something is better than nothing.

Can we get this thread back on the "the servers are down" topic? It's turning into a bash 2k/complain about the game thread. I just want updates on the server issue and not have to traverse through 100 posts about how everyone hates 2k and VC to get information about the servers.

If you want to complain about 2k screwing you out of $60 or shout about how much you hate VC, there are about 1,000 other threads on OS that are talking about that.

Please, for the sake of my brain.

we pay 60 dollars to play a full game not just quick games because of these servers.

No i get it. But im not really bitching. Im saying this message been going out all day on twitter with no actual updates. As a consumer i paid for a product i expect to work. Now in today world thats not always the case. But it is thier job to let us the consumer know what there doing to rectify the situation. Or even a possible eta to when they think a problem will be corrected. Thats why they get paid. And if they didnt want that type of reaction then they need to stay away from social media. Everyone has different ways of dealing with anger, and social media provides a direct line to those responsible. People are upset that a product they spent thier hard earned money on isnt working and imo have every right to be upset.

I honestly don't know what other complaints people can have with the game and 2K other than the servers. The actual game is amazing.
