That's one thing NBA Live 16 does a fantastic job with, the nets and sound, fantastic pop when you hit a NBN shot from deep.

How much it changes the game with proper net/dunk/rim sounds. Listen to that swish man. I hope some PC guys can mod it for 2K16.
Hah, that's almost the exact same thing I did with my vid in 2k14

I also made this back when I made my immersion thread. Really makes the game "pop" more.

Man, it's fun to dream. Sometimes we wonder what else is left for 2K to do when it comes to improving their game in critical elements. This is absolutely one of those things. Whenever the audio is finally on point (no easy task), I think we'll look back and wonder how we ever put up with the current system.

I feel the same way about buzzer beaters and how no basketball game has ever really nailed their essence. But I digress.

Pretty good. I just don't like how everyone moves so fast in 2K14ng. 2K15 has a more realistic feel to it when it comes to player movement/speed. But great job though.

But it's crazy how realistic 2K15 feels once you change the audio. Crazy.

No matter what happens, I am PUSHING THE HECK out of this when a 2K17 wish list thread is made. And I'm gonna tweet the devs EVERY DAY until they acknowledge it haha......

Without playing 16, I am sure they have made such a solid game...... I just want the sound to match now....

OS or someone simply needs to have a sit down with the 2k audio engineer and see why things are still the way they are in NBA2k. That is all. Why isn't 2k's audio guru interacting with the community?

                        Things to notice

Crowd reaction, rim sound (and its noticeable bend), Announcer reaction
                        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/V-QTiByTKaI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

                        Crowd reaction, Player scream

This is how a long jumper should sound hitting the rim hard

Rim sound, announcer, crowd (kinda muffled)
                        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/GT0kE3LlgFg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Adding more stuff like this would go a long way in the game

Okay here is a bonus one of a bunch of game winners. Varying crowd sounds, how the rim sounds and the announcers as well as how players react

Another dunk crowd announcer reaction that would sound fine in this game

The sound of the net when making a jumper is the worst. It sounds like someone's biting in an apple every time. Theres only one sound sample for this and it is as bad as you can imagine.

Not sure if they kept that for nostalgic reasons over the years as it is VERY simple to change.

But rim and net swish sound is different (much better) when u shootaround as high school player in My Career and it changes to the terrible ones once u reach nba (or on college changes already, don't remember)

I made quick video of it, you get these sounds in a shootaround after first high school game .

The lack of authentic atmosphere kills the overall immersion for me in this game.

More squeaking shoes and better net sounds. I listen to the NBA on xm radio quite a bit and their shoes are amazingly squeaky.
